Just got it for PS4 and love it so far. Really like the inclusion of the batmobile as it makes the game feel fresh. While I still love gliding around and grappling along the city it still makes you feel like a badass driving around in the batmobile.
I have not gotten far at all as I've been focusing on the side missions but overall really enjoy this game so far. How about you guys?

I recently bought the GOTY editions of the previous games on steam because they were on sale. I've heard there have been serious problems with the PC port so far, so I'm glad I had zero interest in playing this at launch.

But I gotta say, it's gonna be a long, hard wait for me. I love this series.
The PC port has such serious problems that Warner Bros. actually pulled it from Steam, effectively un-launching it. As much as it sucks that the game wasn't ready when they said it would be, I think this is a positive development in the evolution of AAA title launch problem responses. Ubisoft - take notes.

I couldn't get into Origins, but I devoured Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. The blend of Metroidvania-style secrets and progression and stealth really make me love this game. The combat could be stronger (I don't particularly like the rhythmic button pushing you have to do to chain combos), but they're a ton of fun to play.
If you liked Asylum and Arkham City you will like Arkham Knight. It feels much closer to those two games than Origins did.
I didn't play Origins, but I thought the frequent criticism of that game was that it was too much like Arkham City to justify its existence. Explain?
That was certainly part of Origin's problem. It tried to add complexity in the wrong places, and a bunch of the missions and fights are just rehashes of the fights in AC. The creative edge was just blunt. Plus it was buggy as hell...which puts AK in good company, I guess.
The bugginess is what turned me off. That and how it seemed to be a visual downgrade from Arkham City, plus it was clearly developed by a different team. Having another team pick up someone else's tools works sometimes (AC: Rogue is a great example), but generally it leads to poorer products because they're not as familiar.
