The problem I have with this format is that the '50' makes no sense. I bet the games will also become way too consistent, defeating the whole point of what singleton formats is about. I just feel that this format was made by people who couldn't be bothered to build full 100 card decks, and just wanted to run random combo decks, that they wouldn't be able to run otherwise. / Rant.
Your deck, however, looks fine. ( Martial Coup, Slagstorm, Anger of the Gods, Flamebreak, Sakura-Tribe Elder ) Could be potential additions. I know that the red sweepers will kill of your guys too, but sometimes you just have to. I assume that Combo and Aggro will be pretty common in this format.
I had a few of the same ideas about the format, but I'm willing to try it as a mental excersize. I'll need to see if anyone in my LGS will want to play.
I think the '50' cards comes in straight up as being half of EDH, I think the idea is more along faster games, with more action right out the gates.

Looks like I had a mistake in the deck tags that was preventing my x cards from showing (I put in x2 instead of 2x). I'm opting more with Starstorm and Bonfire as my sweeper, Bonfire for being one sided, starstorm for instant speed. Faultline Is likely to be cut. Still unsure on the effectiveness of Devastating Dreams.
I'm really feeling the lack of card draw though, even with fecundity and mentor.
I'm pretty sure this format is intended for dueling, which makes it probably a comparable environment, speedwise, to Modern (fewer cards per deck and a deeper pool, but less consistency aside from commander). It looks to me here like you're trying to make a deck intended for standard battlecruiser EDH (tons of mana, big creatures, big plays) by playing around the CMC restriction with x-spells and expensive late-game activated abilities. Which is fine in a control deck, but it looks like you're playing for token aggro instead.
I'm no wizard with the format, having just learned about it a couple days ago on the forum here, but I'm willing to bet you'll do better by embracing the lower curve. Targeted burn, one-shot token generation and overruns like Trumpet Blast, etc.
I was going to make a bunch of suggestions but then I realized how limiting 50 cards is.
I don't think there's enough room for all of those utility lands. I thinks it's really important to flawless mana in a format that is more or less requires a relevant play every turn and especially in a three color deck that really wants to play its commander on turn three and preferably on turn two.
I would play six one drop mana dorks. Marath is a really mana hungry commander and you don't have room to play much more than 19 lands. Additionally being able to play Marath on turn two to avoid counter magic and maim utility creatures sooner seems really good. Also, Exploration seems really bad here. You only have about as many lands as you would in a draft deck. You'll only be able to use it a few times before it's dead. A mana dork seems better in nearly every situation.
You colors give you access to two of the available six (playable) planeswalker in the format. The french Marath have used Domri Rade in creature heavy lists to great success. Ajani, Caller of the Pride also seems good as distributing +1/+1 counters and launching Marath seem good by itself and his ultimate isn't irrelevent in a token strategy.
I think Beastmaster Ascension is going to be better than Spear of Heliod most of the time. It's not active immediately but it kills way faster. Goblin Bushwacker is notable if you elect to go the Domri and mostly creatures route.
Fiery Justice seems like it would be pretty good. It should be able to get 2-3 creatures in this format and can hit planeswalkers.
Tiny leader is a new Commander variant. All cards must have CMC<=3, 50 card deck, 25 life.

"Personally I love high-riak, low-reqars gambles. Life's best with a decent amount of riak. And f*** reqars."
Yes, the 2-3's are denoting mana cost.
Thanks Slarg. I missed that one.

Tempted to switch to a black deck, as they have insane amounts of low cost draw. (Phyrexian Arena, Grim Haruspex, Dark Prophecy, Bob, Pain Seer, etc.)

Other Tham that, here's a few suggestions:
Hardened Scales
Basilisk Collar
Nightshade Peddler
Kessig Wolf Run
It looks pretty good though. ^.^
