It was said in the Weekly MTG YouTube video about March of Machines, that there would be at least 3 planeswalkers in the set. I interpret this to mean that there are 3 traditional 'walkers. We know that Chandra is one of those. Teferi is likely to be another (based on art and story).
If Thalia and Quintorius are also included, my guess is that they are non-traditional 'walkers, i.e. flip 'walkers like in Magic Origins.
it confirmed the art shows he did spark and it also likely means from the art shown
Thalia, Guardian of Thraben will also spark and became a walker
That is not true. From the very beginning, we were shown characters from different worlds fighting together. Yes, Quint sparked, but that means nothing for Thalia.
I strongly recommend googling what the word "confirmed" mean.

This is the art OP is referring to. I don’t think this actually means anything for Thalia though. Non-planeswalker characters have appeared in several key arts in the past year alone. Also, Thalia already got a creature card and there’s a good chance Elspeth will get a mono-white planeswalker card this set. It’s not impossible that Thalia gets a pw card too, just not likely.
I am not sure about Elspeth being mono white... It could be that she is extended to multicolor. Her awaking card is blue for example. This could mean nothing but with the commander deck divine convocation in mind I could see them throwing us another Sarkhan Unbroken situation. I hope the commander deck has a Angel theme and that Elspeth will be something like an Angel. Her being angry because Elesh is targeting the planes she cares most about could explain some red emotional behavior like Ajani Vengeant. On her package art she has a lot of blueish color and a little red in addition to the yellow lightning stuff.
Well if our Loxodon friend is a Planeswalker than he will be Boros most likely. We know that Chandra is red. Teferi could be mono blue or white/blue. Elspeth is something with white for sure.
WotC already had the same Character appearing multiple times in the same set. Put it doesn't matter honestly. If she just sparks in the story than maybe the next card for her will be a planeswalker. Maybe Aftermath could be the place. I am still hoping because she seems to have a lot of potential.

This really doesn't mean nothing anymore. Atraxa arts for ONE were screaming red all over the place and she is everything except that. Also, if Teferi and Elspeth are both in the set is extremely unlickely, for color balance reasons, that Elspeth is UW, since Teferi already cover by default that color combination. All that blue in Elspeth could means that she just reached a kind of "celestial" like ascension, perhaps becoming an angel, to juxtapose Ob Nixilis demonlike ascension. I'll say she just stick to monowhite as usual, I don't see for what flavor or character progress reasons she should get blue.
I my opinion is more likely that Teferi will be mono blue. He already has multiple mono blue cards. But who knows what they have planed. If Quintorius is the 3rd Planeswalker than we already have our 3 traditional walkers with Teferi and Chandra. So Elspeth could even be a double face card contradicting the preator cycle of double face Monster/saga cards. *shrug*
I would love to see them use the same flip/split as Urza got in BRO, since it definitely feels like Elspeth is coming back as something more.
I think Chandra, Teferi and Wrenn will be the traditional walkers, Elspeth will be the elevated version, Quintorius and mathe a couple others will be flip walkers. Just pull out all the stops and let it live up to Maro's hype

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
This might be the happiest I've been about a new PW in a long time. Arcavios/Strixhaven as a setting is a bit too whimsical/cheesy for my taste overall, but I really liked the Lorehold college as a "new approach to Boros" and Quintorius was my favorite character from the set. Also: One more non-human walker!

That ... is Elspeth? Doesn't look like her at all to me! My guess would be that this is a random uncommon that made it on the packaging for some reason.
The two color groups that don't really have an obvious default planeswalker post ONE are red/white (formerly Nahiri) and mono blue (formerly Jace). Quintorius fills Boros, but Thalia would be a third mono white.

Unlikely why should an uncommon creature wield the weapon that is the icon for the entire set.

Notably, the two circles in a row above the crossguard are a feature of the sword Elspeth used before, which she may be using again now that Luxior is lost in Jace's chest cavity.
I saw the thread title and my mind immediately went to Quintorius. Weird thing though: I always expected our loxodon planeswalker to be green-white like in that one web comic.

Bold assumption there that Quintorius will be a "traditional planeswalker". With TDFC in the set and this set telling the story of Quintorius's ascension I would e. g. be entirely not surprised with a Magic Origins-style DFC with a creature on front and planeswalker on the back.

Is it me or does that style on Elspeth look especially New Capenna? I'm leaning towards her getting to interact with the Halo of the plane in her return.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Good guess with New Capenna. The story seems to lead to that, too. I am not sure about Quintorius being the DFC. I mean he could... I just think that Wrenn looks more like a DFC card for me. I believe it was stated somewhere that Wrenn could only planeswalk if they are connected to a tree. In the story the connection with six is cut down. But I was wrong many times before :D. And both could be DFC, too. Still, I think they mentioned in the first stream about the set, that the set would have 3-4 traditional planeswalker. Chandra and Teferi are set. Maybe Vivien is the 3rd than or Elspeth isn't a DFC?
