I've been very "oh no not more previews AGAIN" in the past, but... wow. This is exciting. These are cool. I'm actually REALLY pumped for this now.
Can't decide which team-up I love more, Yargle and Multani (for being a big chonker and that flavor text) or Thalia riding Gitrog Monster into battle with a harness and helmet.

And Slimefoot and Squee being a knock of Groot and Rocker Racoon
I do love ALL of these legends. But I'm starting to think this is WotC's (most likely successful) attempt at jumping the shark (link, btw, explains where the phrase comes from for those who do not know... look up the expression to fully understand what it implies), by combining the characters and by having all of the recently visited plains partaking in the ensuing face-off (sorry/not sorry... had to do it) between the Phyrexians and the rest of the planes. Here's to hoping Lorwyn has a word in all of this; it would be a shame if they were left out (I mean Alara is taking part, so why not Lorwyn?)...
Is it a good idea to bring the frog that eats people to a battlefield fulled of enemies that can turn you into an abomination through various ways, likely including ingestion?
What Satoru is adding to his card with Goro-Goro? Every ability reflects Goro-Goro. It seems like Satoru is adding some colors and nothing more. The card itself isn't very good either.
I love the combination legends card, especially Marven and Ghalta. I hope we receive a Thassa and Arixmethes card, for another 12/12! But I have a feeling the gods were the focus of the Theros contribution to the set. As mighty as Arixmethes may be, the gods are vastly more powerful. But I'd love to see him and a legend pair up, to see a new iteration of my favorite creature We'll see!

Satoru is a Ninja. If you don't use Goro-Goro' haste, the next obvious way to have a creature that entered the battlefield this turn deal combat damage to a player is have them enter the battlefield attacking e. g. use ninjutsu.

Lorwyn and Mercadia appear in art for "invasions" (probably battles).

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

This does feel like it is getting into "jumping the shark" territory, definitely the most avengers-team-up feeling of anything we've seen before. It seems to be building up to a massive reset though. I hope so.
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.

I mean, Multani's "contribution" to Yargle & Multani is just being a green card to double Yargle's stats. It has nothing reflecting either ofMultani's cards specifically.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Lots of legend team-ups in this set. Here's another pair of pairs. Oh look, a vanilla creature in 2023.
The showcase treatment for this set is... all of them. They're calling them Multiverse Legends, and that name extends to other things.
We even have new showcase frames for planes that didn't have one. Here's the Ixalan treatment, with a very big name doing the art.
Can't decide which team-up I love more, Yargle and Multani (for being a big chonker and that flavor text) or Thalia riding Gitrog Monster into battle with a harness and helmet.
I think we Offically have the the new world record for the most popular flavor text in the history of MTG
And Slimefoot and Squee being a knock of Groot and Rocker Racoon
Oh yeah, I had scrolled too fast past them, wow that's a good one.

Cards I still want to see created:

Yargle Fling anyone?
Oh and where is my Ragavan and Emrakul card?

I know the card's basically a meme, but still.
I think Emrakul needs to be paired with her traditional rival, 15 birds.

And, yes, they fly. Sugar gliders.
you both lose its 15 red balloons
It is squirrels, I messed up the joke because I usually say birds thinking it makes more sense, but the original joke was squirrels.
I know it was squirrels but I was joking because I was talking about this (plus they can actually block emrakul)
