Great art, really living up to the "horror" type. I've really like a lot of the art in this set. Really glad to have phyrexians back like this.

Killer card and killer art. Feels like it could've fit into the OG Kamigawa.

This is one of the only white/Norn-style Phyrexians I've been impressed with, art-wise.

Reminds me of that creepy claymation Mark Twain cartoon, where he and those kids met Satan.

I don't understand people. The art looks more goofy than horror to me.

Humor and horror are pretty close to one another, because they're both based on the unexpected/unfamiliar - just think of clowns.

I just think of Tragedy Strikes at an Aerobics Competition - Key & Peele.

The horror aspect comes from the implication of its existence, and the combination of incongruous parts - it's flesh crafted together into a rudimentary body, which is constrained by the porcelain/bone bits. The flesh beneath lives, but there is no life in the most human aspect this thing possesses; the faces. The faces might well be death masks - they look more like vedalken faces than human ones, imo.
