The BG signpost uncommon feeds off the creatures cards in graveyard strategy with lifegain. It also adds a creature to the graveyard with its removal ETB. Good thing too, since that lifegain effect only kicks in if you exile the SPider when it dies.

Dunno how much Modern BG Yawgmoth, Thran Physician decks want this card, especially since...

Grist, the Hunger Tide does part of its job and is easier to tutor for
Diabolic Intent looks playable in BG Yawgmoth and competes for the same resources
