Hey! We're going to get a monocolored red Kor. Who would have thought?
Whoever maintains this document made the questionable decision to use the same symbol for modal spell modes as for the list of FAQ rulings and also leaves no extra line break after card text. Djinn of the Fountain e. g. reads quite funny that way.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
But it is clearly not complete. Jedit Ojanen, Mercenary - already a revealed card - is missing, for example, so is Jared, Dihada, etc.
Huh, you have a point. The Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty release notes also contains Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty Commander cards.
With that being said, the release notes have never included every card in the set, although the non-included cards have been pretty straightforward. (I'd imagine Jared Carthalion's release notes to at least clarify that he can put his first minus ability's +1/+1 counters on his own Kavus, for instance.)
• In most cases where the value of X isn't defined in the text of a card, its controller chooses the value of X.
However, the X in King Darien's name is always 10.
But it is clearly not complete. Jedit Ojanen, Mercenary - already a revealed card - is missing, for example, so is Jared, Dihada, etc.
The Document only covers the main set, i. e. everything that's in the draft boosters.
Jedit Ojanen belongs to the twenty special cards that are reimaginations of Legends characters, which are... Box Toppers IIRC. Anyway, they should be numbered past the number of cards in the set.
Jared & Dihada likewise are from the Commander decks. IIRC they even have a separate set symbol, but whether they do or not, they are not part of the draftable part of the set covered in this document - they usually get their own document IIRC, though I'm not certain where we would expect the Jedit FAQ.

Except...well...not at all. :-P
Page 56, bottom, to the end of document (see picture).
All the boxtoppers are listed under Commander.
Already known Stangg, Hazezon, 'dane, Ramses...and a couple of others...
Ayesha, Xira, Tetsuo, Orca, Caleria...

Shame that Academy Loremaster lets all players draw additional cards - otherwise, it would have been quite strong in Modern.
Baird, Argivian Recruiter might see play in Modern Humans since he gets enabled by any Human with at least one +1/+1 counter on it (see Champion of the Parish and Thalia's Lieutenant).
Balmor, Battlemage Captain grants power-only semi-Prowess that grants mass evasion (well, Trample) and costs only UR.
Braids's Frightful Return might actually end up being even better than Braids, Arisen Nightmare in Modern, since for your 3 mana, you get CA that's somewhat hard to remove...unless your opponent plays white.
Cosmic Epiphany can draw an ungodly number of cards...as long as you're not a fan of Delve, Escape, or new Squee. ...And you can pay 6 mana. ...And you probably already play 4 Scapeshift so all that implied ramp isn't for nothing, right?
The Elder Dragon War looks like it has promise as a flying 4/4 for 4 mana that can loot and minor board wipe. Importantly, it plays nice with Indomitable Creativity and is its own win con to boot.
Electrostatic Infantry is the closest mono-red will ever get to Sprite Dragon. It even has Trample!
Karn's Sylex looks like an interesting hoser and Pernicious Deed-style board wipe. Nobody can crack fetchlands or activate Griselbrand while it's out.
Rundvelt Hordemaster looks kinda nuts in Goblins decks.
Dunno how good Keldon Flamesage is in Modern. That on-attack trigger looks tasty, but it's a 3-mana 2/3 with no Haste and no evasion (that dies to Bolt), and unless you Enlist, that trigger is going to whiff shockingly often.
Shush! I had to take care of other stuff and read the document at my own pace. I just reached Zar Ojanen, Scion of Efrava and saw that section coming up.
So Jedit and Jared aren't down their either? That's weird.
I recall there being separate documents for an earlier set... Kamigawa, maybe? I'd have to check. Well, they have so many variants and things numbered past the maximum number that I can't tell anymore.

I had to laugh about this one (King Darien XLVIII)...
On the other hand, the last line scares me. There are so many people unfamiliar with Roman numerals? Or it is a joke along the lines "This creature cannot even"...?

Yesss! New Xira confirmed! Shame how she shares similar design space with Chevill, Bane of Monsters but overall I'm just glad we got a flavorful top-down eumidian.

Probably a joke, at this point sneaking in a funny ruling is a WotC tradition that happens at least once per set.

Yeah, I am SO glad they included her and Halfdane. And she has exactly the feeling I expected. We also got another servant of Ramses in Orca
Only Kei Takahashi would be probably missing from Tetsuo's team. And Boris Devilboon from Ramses'
Even Caleria is here, as archer lord. Poor Kusho rebels (Gosta, Kasimir and Ragnar) got the short end of a stick. But hey, I am not complaining.

Tried Karn's Sylex in some Modern decks today. Its ETB tapped bites, and so does only being able to blow it up at sorcery speed, but looping it with Karn, the Great Creator is hilarious (and can win games if your draws are subpar). Perhaps more crucially, Karn's Sylex helps fix up U/B/R/Colourless's weaknesses of being unable to easily deal with artifacts, enchantments, and/or creatures.
Hey, at least Mono-Black Cabal Coffers is going to love this Sylex!

It got taken down. I copied the text into my post on MTG Nexus. I tried to do that here but it wouldn't let me.

It was probably an early draft, there was a couple of typos and major rules errors in the text.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."

Legendary Journey: Heroes & Planeswalkers
Saga: Shards of Rabiah
