Huh, so if you kick the giant leech it stops being a graveyard freeloader and actually contributes to stocking the graveyard. I though it would try to eat you instead of your opponent.
In practice, I can't imagine that highest mana value getting too high. I wouldn't be surprised to see this guy as a mere 4/4 or even 3/3, even after the mill trigger.

Would've been fun in Ikoria Limited with the big cycling creatures. Not seen anything to make it good in DMU so far though.
but I can already tell all of you missed the most important part.
The leech has a Homarid rider on it
Nope, saw it. Stall for Time has a cephalid in it. Nice to see they haven't forgotten about all those obscure tribes, even if it's just artwork. Pretty sure we'll see a Nantuko in one of the cards with a green kicker too.

Yeah. Kicker is also detrimental to the mana value of cards in the set since a lot of casting cost is hidden in the text box. This is probably best with the various cards that reduce casting cost based on creature/instant and sorcery/etc. cards in the graveyard or Domain, but even the number we see of them is not really tipping the scale much.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
