Grim Tutor and Triumph of the Hordes are the money cards here, with their cheapest copies at $15 and $12 respectively. Wrath of God comes in at a distant third at $4. This SL might go for $39.99 for nonfoil and $49.99 for foil.
This entire thing is going to be super polarizing, and I'm just here to watch the salt happen in real time.
First off, those lands look super dope. Second, I'm relieved that they opted for skins rather than actual Fortnite-inspired cards themselves. That was probably the biggest item of contention among the MTG community, at least from my POV.
I think this will be less explosive as people originally imagined.

We've known it was all reprints from the very first announcement. There would be riots in the WotC parking lot if we had any idea it wasn't.
Wrath of God is a weird choice for the storm. I don't play the game, but not every "creature" (player) dies to it and with one always surviving it doesn't make sense. Last One Standing or Duneblast would have been better choices for it.
With that said, this is awful, even more so than Secret Lairs usually are.
I've never played Fortnite and don't like the art style, but those lands look really nice. I'm almost sad it's a secret lair and not a proper release hehe.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. I guess I missed that part. Still, I'm happy nonetheless it's skins rather than exclusive cards a la Walking Dead/Stranger Things.

I'm going to break from the anti-hype train and be the first to say that I've changed my tune upon seeing the cards. I most definitely will be adding these cards to my collection once they release the Secret Lair Drop. I wished I could say the same for the lands, but I've never really been drawn to the land drops (aside from the Voracious Reader Super Bundle from a few years back teehee!) so it will just be the drop with the reskins. I liked the idea of alternate named UB cards like Second Round and Denting Blows from the Arcane Secret Lair that I purchased. I also find it somewhat fitting that Battle Royale is Triumph of the Hordes which inflicts poison because that game can be pretty toxic sometimes. Lol
Glad it will not cause riots as predicted when first announced. It's *just* on obvious cash grab (what from WOTC isn't these days?). Easy to pass on this one and move on.
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
This drop confuses me.
The lands are nice, the other cards are underwhelming.
Why did grim tutor need another printing so soon when it was already in a recent Secret Lair and Standard set?
Does Wizards want the card to appear in every black Commander deck with so many different arts and alternate names that it's not even distinguished and recognizable?
It would almost make more sense to reprint demonic tutor or [/card]vampire tutor[/card] at this point which players actually want and expect to see frequently.
Also, why isn't "The Cube" doubling cube?
I might have to skip this one.

well to remind
We still need cruel tutor printed properly (all we got is the list)
this was probably the most salty of secret lairs announced back then and now before us is the cards
And for cards we got one of each basic and 7 other reprint cards
(note: there's one other card card but its not shown and that's the bonus card and we should see that one later)
lets start with the basics
and Ofcoarse a prayer answered because only two cards in the lair a chase cards all the others can be gotten in bulk easily
and triumph of the hordes (this version might add more salt by how hated the announcement was)
(ps now we get dance of many with the proper text box besides being UB)

last one standing would (have) be a perfect fit for this
With that said, this is awful, even more so than Secret Lairs usually are.
I thought this was pretty nice until I read it's TWO Secret Lairs, one with just lands again...

i have nothing else positive to say about this product, but you all already know that.

What about demonic consultation?!
That's never been reprinted and deserves even higher priority
I'd even settle for a reprint of Maralen of the Mornsong
