I don't get it, Emrakul doesn't need another printing OR another art. It should have given that spot away, 4 titans, the ones that need it. Watch this set have just a bunch of stuff banned in EDH.
(yes I am aware that other formats exist, I play Modern. Look at the EDH banned list, very few of the banned cards are worth more than a few dollars unless they are Reserved List. I bet we see Braids, Gifts, maybe Channel at mythic again, Prime Time, Sundering Titan, my guess is 3 of the 5, in addition to Emrakul, of which only Emrakul doesn't have a version under $5 in your $16 pack.

I guess having more senior eldrazi in circulation is good for price points...Considering that Cosi is the most valuable of the three at the moment.
I'm wondering what high-dollar cards they can put in that aren't reserved list. Maybe Imperial Seal will get its day in the sun? P3K version is going for $1787US right now.

So far the only shot so far is that eldrazi themed pack in jumpstart 2022 (the dominaria thing is just the birth of jumpstart boosters focused on standard sets along with set/draft/and collector.)
But really it's more likely to get a commander so you can use the devoid eldrazi's from the BFZ block (WUBRG legend) and not need morophon, the boundless
Just to confirm, these were accidently placed in CLB Collector boosters? If this is even reasonable common for Whale Bait 2022 cards to appear in CLB collector boxes, that could be very, very interesting ramifications.
Looks like folks might be wrong about no chase cards in CLB, LMFAO.

first off yes these were accidentally put in commander legends 2 packs
Second of all these are all chase cards (from commander decks is borderless versions)

100% agree, and I'd add Elminster and Minsc and Kindred Discovery, Legion Loyalty, Karlach, maybe Volo, and certain rare Commanders in the etched foil versions like Lae'zel.
None of the new art has made me want to buy this set so far.
Some of the art is bad like Viconia and Delayed Fireball, but most of it rangings from Okay to outstanding (Elminster, Tasha, Gorebrute, Borderless Bramble Soveriegn, Jaheira, Karlach, Minthara, Lae'zel, Dynahiera, Nalfshnee, Balor, Chain Devil, Bone Caller, Durnan, Faldorn, Nalia, Neera, Minsc, Ancient Dragons, Young Dragons, Displacer Beast Kitten, Owlbear Cub, are all great, etc...).

I’m talking about the DM22 cards that have new art that we have seen so far.

This seems like a strange conclusion to draw from seeing one card that's an exception to your price rule. There are for sure gonna be cheap rares in the set, but why you'd think they'd specifically target the commander ban list is beyond me.
I'm sure they will put in whatever value of cards they think will get people to pay $15 for a pack.

Braids- 2 printings in premium price products
Gifts Ungiven- 3 premium rare printings
Channel- Mystical Archive and 2 other premium product prints, including MYTHIC in a Master set
Primeval Titan- FIVE printings in varioations on premium sets including mythic slot in 2 masters sets
Sundering Titan- 4
My price note was just that the rest of those would be mediocre to bad pulls in a Standard pack. I didn't say they would target the banned list, I don't expect Coalition Relic, Sway of Stars or Leovold. I said that based on history, they are going to give these specific cards, none of which see more than a modest amount of play/demand and cannot be played at all in the most common format, another printing and probably take up mythic slots. I get that sets have bad rares, I'm just saying that as someone with a foil of both Archive and Masters Channel and enough Sundering Titans to wallpaper a room, I would like for them to at least be new choices. I'm saying Erayo is only worth a few dollars and would drop like a rock, but it hasn't been printed in over a decade so I wouldn't be salty about it.
It's the Tarmogoyf thing, it's a good card. There are now 8 versions of it, and they added mythic rarity to TSR specifically so this near vanilla card wouldn't have to be just a rare. 8 printings, and half of Lorwyn block is expensive because zero reprints.
It was more a gripe about them only reprinting the same handful of cards again and again, price was just a side note that most of them don't even have price/demand as a good reason to keep printing them. You know? How many 3 Kingdoms cards would love a reprint, even the commons and uncommons. Eightfold Maze is a bad card, but it's a $95 card because they treat those sets like the Reserved List, but I bet we see Swords to Plowshares for the literal 35th time or Path for the 20th. P3K has exactly 3 rares listed under $100, none under $50 on tcg
I'm sorry, I got to rambling, whoops I do hope to be wrong, and this wasn't meant to be aimed at you, I would just really like some of these cards that have not been printed in the lifetime of some people at my LGS but are not technically RL

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
No one seems to remember when they put out the article "Why Leaks Hurt" a few years ago and said they were going to crack down on the leakers. Now every set has multiple leaks of multiple cards. Its not coincidence, it is planned and coordinated.

Don't fall for the obvious smoke and mirror job.
I think budget cuts in some printer's QA department is more likely. If the goal was to sell more packs, why not just announce it and get more than just the small percentage of the playerbase that follows leaks involved? Why have a conspiracy for something that could be done better openly?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Why have a conspiracy for something that could be done better openly?
Companies lying it's not conspiracy theory. They do it all the time.
Then again, there was the Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate leaks that was done by a former warehouseman that had also openly stated that he didn't play Magic but Yugioh and that he stole for personal gain, that was sent C&Ds by WotC and I believe he had said "sue me." Curious how that is going right now.
Why have a conspiracy for something that could be done better openly?

Yeah, but usually for profit. My point is that there's no logical reason for them to do it in this case. They'd literally be lying to make themselves look worse.
And to be clear, "conspiracy" is absolutely the correct word for companies lying to cover up shady behavior. A conspiracy theory is a related, but distinct thing.
If they wantec that they could have printed Dockside and Jeweled Lotus as was commonly expected of them.
But they didn't. So what to do to push up lagging sales of an existing product? You have a possible answer in this case.
