Yes, this set still has commons. The first one is just useful for any white deck that cares about the attack step, while the latter works for all the flicker strategies in Limited. Can any of these work for Pauper?
Protective Fighting Style feels like a bit of a flavor failure, in that it's only protecting a creature that has already been affected in some way. It really needed Flash to be a flavor success.
Maybe it's just me but the sword seems a little pushed for limited at common? If I remember correctly such tab on attack triggers were on mana value 4 creatures normally. I thinking of cards like Star-Crowned Stag, Heliod's Emissary and Aetherstorm Roc. Sure you need a creature to equip this but it comes with a +1/+1 counter in addition to the tapping.

There was Territorial Hammerskull, but the main reason I remember that one is because it was so strong that it was defining to the format. Hence I feel the same way: This seems like an immensely impactful card - such a tap-on-attack ability that cannot be permanently dealt with with creature removal is a big deal and not something I expected to see at common again.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Still a decent common.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
