Gorgeous art! I love this one. But it does appear to be another green saga. I suspect that blue leans into the modern Kamigawa whereas green and white is more traditional, with sagas representing the living historians/history aspect of the modern vs. historic theme. On that note, will Historic itself appear here? I hope so!
Sacrified legs and a pair of arms…
They will be nagas now, i can see it…
kinda sad. At least give some cool akkis and i might still buy alot from this set. They completely changed kamigawa from our last peak (kaseto)(future sight). The kami and mortal world started to fuse in last 100 years. Michiko is apparently dead. They are changing the style of major tribes, etc At this point they should just have made a new plane. Whats next? Slivers? …
If it weren't for today's story, I suspect we'd never know this probable Saga card was trying to tell the story of how the orochi lost their limbs (to the kirin).
How would the card for this pull off telling that story with rules text alone? A kirin creature card on the back? A snake creature token generated by the front? The card giving snakes -X/-0 but giving them trample or menace next turn?

Kamigawa doesn't have Dominaria's constant world-ending events to keep knocking things back. Also, it's been hundreds of years since the kami started falling into Kamigawa.
hmmm didn't see a saga about the legendary spirits that resemble horses coming and the orochi got teachings from them.
oh this story also explains why the orochi are legless now
(They sacrificed 2 arms and both legs to the Kirin's for help)
land to potentially bring laughs isin't it funny the engraving of the orochi on the pot gives a trogdor feeling for some?

The Orochi were men.
I mean, they were snake men.
Or maybe they were just snakes.
But they were still OROCHIIIIIIIIIIII
No wonder we haven't seen any thatched roof cottages yet...
