Seems really good for protecting against sweepers. The anti Angel tribe effect is breaking my heart, tho.
A full-team Restoration Angel is going to be great against most board wipes. I especially like that its a leaves trigger and not a dies trigger, so you can flip off the Cyclonic Rift player in Commander.

The "non-angel" clause is pretty standard, it's a good flavorful way to prevent 2 of these from going infinite. It does suck a little in a set with Angel tribal, but Restoration Angel does the same thing, so it's not unprecedented. And unfortunately, any other way of preventing the infinite is just clunky, having to call out the card by name or some other aspect (non-cleric?), which doesn't fit as flavorfully as "of course the angels only save non-angels"

Yeah I can see why they do it flavorwise but wouldn't this kind of effect go infinite with creatures that just blink stuff like Yorion, Sky Nomad or some O-Ring ETB creatures? I know you would need an additional creature but well. I think this time it could have fit flavorwise, too. They are Valkyries. They fight together. Why shouldn't one of them protect another one? They could exclude the card itself instead. They do that for unique selections of card -> "with different Name".
I am quite happy that the whole angel tribal thing is happening in the first place. I didn't wanted to complain. We are just missing the tribal legend in Orzhov what is okay. I was playing Angel tribal in the past with less tools.
In one hand, Lumbering Battlement wasn't exactly top tier when it was in Standard.
On the other hand, this does seems to be much better, and while Battlement wasn't super strong, it could do some real silly things if it got going and I loved it in my Azorius Blink deck in Standard.
On the other other hand, Lumbering Battlement could exile another copy of itself, which I used to go infinite at least once with Elite Guardmage.
Overall, I like it. Potential for Standard, great in Commander, just an overall sweet card.
I'm rather amused by the thought of this Valkerie saying "Talk to the hand!" to a literal Wrath of God. Which side are you on, actually? When I call for smitage, smitage it is!
