How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
It's... complicated. Technically you could through some Serpent cards in the reptilian Snake category, as well as Wurms, based on their biological design.
I feel like making this card both a snake and a lamia is a good compromise between "all cards must have tribal synergies" and "if a hippocamp is a horse fish, is a griffin a cat bird?"
In general, I would prefer that they give unique creature types to unique mythological concepts. When certain creatures are given a mishmash of types based on their components but other creatures get their own type, its the latter which feel more evocative.
Besides escape where the part where you can cast from the graveyard card
But seriously are they out of their minds this is entomb on a creature
By the way that’s not the English name change the threads name too
Gravebreaker Lamia
Atleast for putting creatures in the yard there was Corpse Connoisseurbut this card's reduction stat is going to make this a great card.

Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
The typical lamia isn't snake-like on Theros, though. She's more goat-like and bestial, and has a humanoid face (though she does have a scaly body). This one is clearly a hybrid of lamia and snake, which is a story I really hope they explore at some point.

This is Entomb on a 5 mana creature. I hardly think that’s busted.
If we’re demanding others to edit their thread titles, then how about you go back and change all of your thread titles from [TBD] to [THB] like they’re supposed to be?
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Hmmm. Consistency with creature types continues to be strange. Your serpent deck can lovingly support snake people as well as normal snakes. Your cat deck has cat people bending the knee to cat lords that are simply normal cats. Where are the primitave humans for my human deck?we need a herd of wild humans rooting around in mud, eating carrots or something to balance it all out. Maybe a dude with four hooves pulling around thalia in a chariot, a proper man-steed.
