How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Yeah. What i meant is: will they reveal the themes slowly as they reveal the cards, or they will first reveal all the themes and then the cards?

Finally the changed the art of terramorphic expanse I was getting sick of that other art
Seriously - the art has been so bland on Expanse. At least this has all the colors it can fetch depicted in the art. I never understood the flavor the TE - just blasted landscapes and dark/dull colors. Doesn't fit flavor-wise into a lot of decks.
It originally appeared in Time Spiral (Remember, Evolving Wilds is a functional reprint of Terramorphic Expanse!) and I assume it was meant to show the blasted landscapes created by the time rifts, but also the potential to terra... morph into any kind of (basic) land.
Ooh, nice, a Legendary Azra from Kyrem. It's nice that we finally get a good Aristocrats Commander that allows us to get U color identity, we have plenty of Orzhov, Rakdos and Golgari ones but Dimir is a new one. Marchesa was pretty much the only option and building a fair Marchesa deck was kind of difficult.
Thriving Moor is really sweet, a flexible Common land that works both if you have lots of colors or just two. Considering its templating makes it a very useful budget card for Commander, I wouldn't be surprised it this saw reprints down the line, maybe even in Commander Legends.
Aside from the one "money cards" like Kels and Maelstrom in each theme, the reprints listed here are pretty meh however. I expect this to be the pattern for Jumpstart, so here's hoping the new cards are at least as exciting as Kels.
It's nice to see more Azra representation here. Is that one of the themes maybe? That art for Terramorphic Expanse is phenomenal. Communicates the shifting landscape better than some cavern or whatever it was before.

Love that Azra commander! Also love that new terramorphic expanse art. It's a shame this wasn't used in some of the commander reprints of the card. We need more of it in the future.
The thriving cycle seemed underwhelming to me, but then I realized (a) it is cool they are commons and (b) it is a nice way to get a dual land cycle while only using 5 card slots instead of 10.

The flavor text.
"Take two steps north into the unsettled future, south into the unquiet past, east into the present day, or west into the great unknown."
-Timespiral Original Printing.
As it was printed in a block that had time as its theme. So instead of just normal terramorphing, you are terramorphing using the timestream.
What are the odds this is where fetches seems reprinted? It’s either this or zendikar. This isn’t standard- modern legal
It's far more likely they're in Zendikar as Expeditions like they were last time: in the packs but not part of the set so not standard legal.
This is assuming they go along with the Expeditions theme again, which I doubt. And they won't put them in Zendikar III because that would mean a) fetches in Standard and b) fetches in Pioneer, which would make the Onslaught/Khans fetches sad they're in detention.

According to RockPaperShotgun, there are 121 possible packs for Jumpstart. Some themes comprise of multiple packs, while others only have one. For example, Minions, themed around sacrifice, has four versions. One variation could include Crypt Lurker, Dutiful Attendant, Ghoulcaller's Apprentice, Innocent Blood, Shambling Goblin, Village Rites, Bone Picker, Eliminate, Goremand, Witch's Cauldron, several Swamps, and these new cards.

Rainbow is a theme that only has one pack. Here's what it would contain that aren't basics:Alloy Myr, Auger Spree, Lawmage's Binding, Prismite, Prophetic Prism, Skittering Surveyor, Dinrova Horror, Fusion Elemental, Ironroot Warlord, Raging Regisaur, Chamber Sentry, Maelstrom Archangel, Rupture Spire, Terramorphic Expanse, Mirrodin's Core and I'm assuming Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest.
