If 8 whack wasn't a turn 3 deck... But the card is nice, i wonder if a tempo deck could use it as a finisher and before it goes off the deck just plays as a control deck.
A suspend creature without haste probably makes this really slow.
If you have it and the mana to suspend it turn one you will get 8 power to attack with on turn 6, and until then you will be down a card and a mana. The problem is that by turn 6 I cannot think of any eternal format where a couple of 4/4:s are super relevant

This is not a card that's intended to be played fairly. You could have this on T1 one (mountain, SSP, electrodominance). That's...a lot of power on T1.
Any good 0 CMC instants to cast as well for added value? Only one I could think of is Evermind but it seems too much of a waste of a deck slot just to make finale cantrip.

Nope. The only other instants are pacts, and it's probably not a good idea to cast those on T2.

I really don't get if the missing "haste" part in the reminder text is intentional or not and if it means older cards such as Greater Gargadon and Keldon Halberdier are errated.

There is no missing "haste" in the text, reminder or otherwise. Creatures that come in off suspend gain haste. This is a spell that makes creature tokens. Spells cannot have haste and they chose not to give the tokens haste, I assume, for power reasons.

Not really.
The token getting haste is not part of suspend though. It's specifically spelled out by the card the same way birds don't have flying until the card says so.
Edit: Unless you're talking from the design angle, rather than the rules one. If so I have to agree. It's a tad confusing, as the thread here shows.
This feels like Ancestral Vision in that it's meant to be cheated in for Modern via stuff like Bloodbraid Elf and As Foretold. You're only supposed to suspend it if you're desperate. Probably how it also works in Cube and Eternal formats, but Modern seems the most likely place for this.
"Only if you're desperate?" Yes, one green mana definitely sounds desperate to me.
Why not just run something that grants haste to the tokens? Like, say, Samut, Tyrant Smasher?

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

It's not about the G though, it's about waiting 4 turns. If you have a board stall or both players are in top deck mode then paying G and waiting 4 turns isn't the worst thing. But it's hardly the best thing either.
Nothing fair will come from this. People are either putting this in with as foretold, finale of promise, electrodominance or cascading. 8 trampling power on 4/4 bodies is nothing to turn your nose up at on turn 2. Hell SSG and electrodominance gives you it on turn 1 lol. Hello force of negation

Crashing Footfalls (no mana cost; green color indicator)
Sorcery (rare)
Suspend 4 -- G
Create two 4/4 green Rhino creature tokens with trample.
That’s obviously a great deal for the mana,
but will it still be useful with that long a delay?
I suspect at least a couple of decks may benefit from an additional T1 option.

It's a non-creature spell. Creature spells are the suspend cards with haste.
Good point.

8 power in 2 bodies for single G mana cost that comes out turn 5 if cast turn 1. A little slow, but can be tested.
