Well there is Massacre Girl :). So it seems like a legendary mono colored creature cylce. Ehm the white one is a counter against land graveyard stuff :/.
I'm assuming that Tomik was intended for eternal formats rather than standard.
I mean, we have Muldrota and Crucible, but those are rotating out in 3 months.
... really weird legends.
Massacre girl is a one shot everything dies if you time her right. Cool, but feels a little weak. Maybe i have too much commander in mind
Tomik is even weirder. Flying human, white card that cares about lands and lands in gy?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Well looks like we only waiting for the gods to have 2 legendary creatures in each color.
Massacre girl is the maveric worsth nightmare. Could see play in standard as a boardwipe that leaves a body.
Tomik is kinda strange, it is a creature tron like decks would like to play, or Girtrog monster and Windgrace commander decks would like to play, but the off color is brutal
A boardwipe, a hatebear. Both quite nice. Tomik is a nice Eternal plant and I think the flavor of stopping Crucible of Worlds through the power of zoning laws is neat.
Loving Massacre Girl, she's hard to block and her ETB can cause a cascade of death. Her art is on point too.
I'm also liking Tomik, another Advokist is always nice to see.
A nice imitation of defile from hearthstone in Massacre Girl, not sure how good she is in constructed, but it does deal with Adanto Vanguard so that is nice at least. I feel like the white legend is pretty good as a two mana 2/3 flier that protects your lands and randomly hoses some modern and legacy and edh decks so that is cool

The article spoiling Tomik hints at something coming soon that will make it more relevant, "specifically with it being a legendary creature." Not sure what format that hint is referring to, or how soon we'll find out what it is, but apparently this card is one to keep an eye on.
Massacre Girl's (an HBO series waiting to happen ) ability is super awesome and it can get ugly fast especially with all the tokens running around. Very flavourful too. I can see her standing there cackling as all the bodies fall in a bloody mess.
I had to reread Tomik's wording again. At first I was like, "well why didn't they just use hexproof?" then I saw that it affects all lands, so they can't target their own lands on the battlefield or in their respective graveyards. Interesting...

Above the curve, and he even has flying, Tomik flies straight into my SCG pre-order cart when he becomes available there.. and into my semi-casual modern legendary creatures aggro deck.
Lol, Massacre Girl's ability is like defile from Hearthstone.
It IS defile on a stick...
Best part of her though is that if you can get to -3/-3 territory or have a footlight fiend on the board (Or Judith, the Scourge Diva on the board with a 1/1) You can take out Rekindling Phoenix through the power of APNAP (Active Player, non-Active Player). Your death trigger goes on the stack, then their Phoenix trigger. They get the token first, then it dies to the -1/-1. Plus you get another -1/-1 trigger from it... BONUS!
All while not taking out yours if you're careful enough.
I REALLY like this chick.

MTG Junky... First packs being a starter of each 4th Edition and Ice Age. Good Grief, I've been playing since 1995? Where does the time go!

this is mtgs, where occam's razor is so blunt it can't cut jello any more.
So, how does Massacre Girl's ability work when multiple creatures die at the same time? Say three x/1 tokens die when she enters, triggering the second part of her ability. Would all other creatures get -3/-3 or -1/-1? Asking because I know it could be a point of contention.
