Just something I noticed from the Card Image Gallery that went live yesterday.
The basics in the CIG are different from the marvellously sinister ones from PAX. In fact, there are far more optimistic.
Bolas's Citadel is seen on some of them, as well as an active Immortal Sun above New Prahv on Island. On Mountain, there is something that looks a lot like Amonkhet obelisks floating atop a jet of steam, resembling rockets.... but the most interesting is Plains...
There seems to be a statue of Nicol Bolas, toppled and broken in the center of the plaza. Or maybe...if there was someone who could turn Nicol Bolas into stone.... ;-)
Anyway, I am intrigued what are the PAX lands then. Promo ones, like the "guild" basics from RNA and GRN?
With the set not having to care about guildgates these could just be regular lands with a variety of arts set iat different points in the plot like the lands of Scars of Mirrodin up to New Phyrexia were.
It would be a nice way to show how Bolas' invasion changes the face of Ravnica (for better or worse).
EDIT: if you look at the collector's numbers it seems clear that there will be multiple basic lands with different arts.
The plains looks like it is the same spot where the planar bridge was opened, now without the bridge.
As for the ones with the Bolas' citadel, since there is no trace of the coalescing sparks, I would put these cards as set after the conflict resolves.

Interesting... There's a much closer version of the art on the War of the Spark - Mechanic Spotlight: Planeswalkers video on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrjQSycSnSw
From about 36 seconds in it's zoomed right in on... well. Check out the pic.

The art on that Mountain is hilarious...obelisk-tic missiles, anybody?

Exactly my point.
You are right. So we have the bolded ones, that means...
#250 Plains
#251 Plains
#252 Plains
#253 Island
#254 Island
#255 Island
#256 Swamp
#257 Swamp
#258 Swamp
#259 Mountain
#260 Mountain
#261 Mountain
#262 Forest
#263 Forest
#264 Forest
That means three lands per type.

We know eight of the twelve then, not just four.
I feel these lands are better representations than the Richard Wright versions.
