Name seems a little on the nose. I'd have called it something like "Monster Reaction" and have the flavor text be ...And the crowd goes wild!, but then again, not a lot of room for flavor text.
I think it is a pretty god damn funny card. Play it in commander, see if any other player pumps mana into it in the hope of you pumping their creatures.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

You have to choose all targets before the other player decides whether to help you, so sadly it wouldn't be as hilarious as you'd like.

What's the most resilient parasite? An idea.
A single idea from the human mind can build cities.
An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules...
This is just a Thrive that grants trample and has assist. So it is a strictly better Thrive, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's something Atraxa or Ghave or Animar or any other +1/+1 counter or token theme commander wants.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Still pretty funny, as you can chose the creatures of a player who is in a bad position to help them (For a pay out later), or if you are in a bad position chose a player with the promise that if they help you, you hold of on attacking them for a while. So many possibilities.

Assist and X cast looks a little like a collusion nightmare
"player A, help me cast this sepll!"
"sure player B, i'll pay 5 mana!"
*player B cast the sell*
"oh wait, i'll pay just 3 mana, i need the other 2 open!"
"damn it player A, i'll ask player C for help!"
(player C)"sure i'll pay 4 mana" *internal muahahahah*
"player B you can't hange player like this!"
And so on
The correct sequence is to move the card to the stack, announcing the value for X and your targets. Then you and the player you've selected to assist you have opportunity to activate mana abilities. Then if the two of you can't (or won't) pay for the spell, rewind the game to before you put the card on the stack.
I've a feeling this card might get a little misplayed. But it's casual, although the rules stickler in me would prefer if people announce the number for X first.
Sorcery (Uncommon)
Assist
Support X.
Each creature with a +1/+1 counter on it gains trample until end of turn.
