I don't know. If I were to compare him with Liliana's other demon creditors, he looks slightly more threatening to me than Razaketh and way more threatening than Kothophed.
This was pretty, well, epic. I liked it, all my nostalgia juices pumping through my veins. I’m pumped. I recently took a gameplay hiatus, will definitly be getting back in with how excited I am for Dominaria.
I don't know, Griselbrand's lack of hands makes his appearance hard to take seriously imo. Whenever I see his art, my mind just goes straight to Captain Hook.
The Weatherlight looks good flying...and at risk in these days and time....Jhoira does as well.
Definately SUPER excited about this set.
The apostolistic Karn seems one to not by messed with. Glory be to Urza?

"Crush this evil at the source" Does it mean going to Old Phryexia?
I'd assume Bolas. I don't know if he predates Phyrexia, but he sure does predate New Phyrexia, and given the involvement of Tezzeret in New Phyrexia, Bolas is trying to pull Phyrexia's strings.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!
I assume it looks better and better.
Karn is badass tho.
At least some Planar Portals where really huge.
Urza is a saint, he even got his image on stained glass : )
Oh please . . .
Well, it was known since the end of Ixalan block story, when Jace planeswalked straigt to the Weatherlight roaming Dominaria.
Belzenlok looks a little underwhelming.

Griselbrand makes him look like a chump though.
Most likely the Cabal.

I dunno, I'm inclined to think Phyrexia as well, as it is the root of many apocalytic events that happened here.
BTW, Wizards has indeed stepped up their animation. They look more 3d now, unlike before they are 2d images just moving.

The story started earlier today. Here's the first story article.
