It looks massive, but half of the ship is occupied by a tailors guild that works 24/7 to keep all those sails mended. There's actually only about 12 pirates on board.
It was that The Ur-Dragon had scale dragons and it didn't want to be outdone, so this ship has scale ships. Does a 4/6 really deserve scale ships though?

I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding how the 4/6 ship shown here seems to be far bigger than the 7/11 Consulate Dreadnought...
It's not very maneuvrable?
Look the card makes it clear the ship can't turn: it has vigilance.
We're not talking about the abilities though. Power and toughness usually imply relative size or strength, and this 4/6 collection of ships eclipses a 7/11 dreadnought in size and numbers.
Granted, Magic has a lot of quirky flavour fails in terms of power/toughness and abilities.
So far Vegicles experiencing a massive downgrade from da KLD ones.
They exagerate it as usual.
Imo this thing coulda been an uncommon cteature too for that power/cost ratio
I really wonder though if there will be mythic vehicle.

First of all, this is only the one "battleship", not the "collection of ships". The other ships shown are just there for scale.
And I would think of it this way. While bigger in size, this ship is made out of wood. While the Dreadnought on Kaladesh was made out of metal and who knows what other aether based materials. So while the Dreadnaught was smaller, it was tougher.

I want my legendary vehicle "Flying Dutchman", "Black Pearl" and "Queen Anne's Revenge". Some might be in the next block, but I want them.

Good lord, this thing has to be several hundred feet tall. How does it take only 2 power worth of creatures to crew this thing? It's like the size of a small village.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

I'd like to think that maybe it's dozens of 0 power creatures, with a single 2 power creature being the captain, but chances are the guys crewing this thing would be at minimum 1/1s.
You could swear that was a ship built for Giants. All those materials could have built a fleet of ships. Where'd they even find trees big enough to provide the lumber for that thing?
Oh, I get it now: That's a normal-sized ship with a bunch of mini ships floating around it. They put them in the picture to make the owners feel better.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

So you hate it for simply being a Vehicle, but decided to go out of your way to try to justify hating it by saying its crew cost is unbalanced?
I'm sure this makes sense in some cultures, but it doesn't to me.

I can get behind that justification.

I would expect it to cost at least 6 as an artifact creature, probably 7 knowing the way they price colorless (non-Eldrazi) creatures.
Puts Smuggler's Copter and Heart of Kiran into perspective with regards to how undercosted they were in both crew cost and mana cost.
