My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
If you can cheat Myojin of Seeing Winds onto the battlefield somehow and have this card, you get "1W: Draw a card for each permanent you control."
then for another 2 mana:
"Put any number of creature cards from your hand onto the battlefield." - Myojin of Life's Web
I was going to say, I think Myojin of Life's Web is probably the easiest one to exploit since you can ramp into it pretty easily. This definitely breaks all the myojin wide open, though.

Lapsed DCI Rules Advisor - Retired from playing but still hanging around
So, if you temporary animate Sealed Kyodai into a creature (that's of the type chosen), you can now put a divinity counter on her with this and she'll protect itself. Bonus points since she can put a counter on Kindred Boon and protect it as well.
That's a roundabout way of doing an Avacyn, Angel of Hope impression though, although with the Myojin and multiple cards the protection itself doesn't rely on a single card in return for all that complicated set-up.
Because divinity isn't limited to Kamigawa? Theros and Amonkhet could in theory use divinity counters as well.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Wich they haven't? Also they aren't represented in that image? Divinity counters feels far more prevelant in Kamigawa so why not use instead of a random image? They even printed O-Kagachi. Why not use him?
Between Sphere of Safety and good defense tribes like Angels and Walls, this will fit into pillowfort decks quite nicely.

This was my exact thought. Actually, I wish they had made this a Legendary Creature - Spirit Avatar named Kyodai instead of an Enchantment, with this effect or AT LEAST depicted Kyodai in the art, which upon reading the effect was exactly what I expected. Scratching my head here..

We lost that the moment there was no Spirit deck in this set.
That being said, I'd prefer if Kyodai was WUBRG like her father though, although this card still could have easily be named "Kyodai's Blessing" instead and it would have been a flavor burst.
I'm pretty sure the art is supposed to be Norse since she seems to be riding a Caribou across a snowy field. Maybe the eventual Norse set will have Divinity again? Since they will have gods after all.

Well, the decks are themed from now on, so perhaps we will get Spirits or a Kamigawa theme or something in the future. That said, I agree regarding Kyodai's Blessing as a missed opportunity with this card. For shame!
I would describe myself as a Kamigawa fan as well, but man, Kamigawa fans sure are one heck of a vocal minority. I can see why people get tired of questions about Kamigawa on Blogatog...
now i am somewhat sad they didn't do a 5c spirit deck.
though i guess a O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami with all the myojin's deck could still kinda work.
As an aside, O-Kagachi and his signature boardwipe don't really care about divinity counters.
As for why it wouldn't work for Theros or Amonkhet, those gods have indestructible by default. No need for counters.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
With the annoucement that Commander decks will now be theme-based rather than colour-based it is but a matter of time until we get other big hitters like angels and spirits.
Enchantment
When Kindred Boon anters the battlefield, choose a creature type.
1W: Put a divinity counter on target creature you control of the chosen type.
Creatures you control with a divinity counter on them are indestructible.
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
What.
The divinity counters are good use with the Myojins

Yes im been nitpicky, the card seems solid.
