Standard and Riku EDH. Standard (like EDH) was Temur so I could ramp and then Geistblast an awakened Part the Waterveil. Having this out doesn't require me to have 12 mana open.
So this and Approach of the Second Sun is an instant win?
No. In order to win, you have to cast Approach of the Second Sun from your hand. Copying it will not work.
It doesn't work, but not for that reason. It won't work because the copy isn't cast. If the copy were cast, it would resolve first, gain 7 life, and put itself into your library (where it would promptly disappear). Then the real card would resolve, see that you had cast Approach this game, and win you the game.
So we can Baral's Expertise, bounce a few things, put its copy on the stack, then Glimmer of Genius for free, put its copy on the stack, let the original and copy of Glimmer resolve for a total of scry 2, draw 2, EE, scry 2, draw 2, EE, then bounce a few more things and double up some other instant or sorcery for free (one which we drew from the earlier spells)?
There is definitely potential for abuse here.
Not that anyone ever used this enchantment, but you could have lots of fun with this and Harness the Storm.
What are the strongest non-temporal blue sorcery spells in EDH?
Anything besides card draw is kind of redundant because the most powerful ones (e.g. Cyclonic Rift) just bounce things. The second one would be redundant except as counterspell insurance.
The plus side on this one is that it copies the spell on the stack -- meaning that any X costs paid are copied as well (e.g. Sphinx's Revelation, Blue Sun's Zenith, etc).
I think people are underestimating how powerful this is with an awakened Part the Waterveil (targeting, as always, your Lumbering Falls).
This effect is powerful, but I'm annoyed by how narrow the flavor is. I don't think I'll play this in any of my EDH decks, but we'll see. It's probably better than Mirari overall apart from art and flavor. Mirari can come online two turns earlier.

I actually think it does work. This is out on the battlefield. You cast approach of the second sun from your hand. The trigger goes on the stack, meaning the copy gets cast and resolves. Then the second one cast, the one you originally cast from your hand, resolves, then you win.

The countless children of The Locust God ceaselessly devoured all traces of the city's defenses.
Weirdly, the english version seems to show the locusts coming to the DEFENSE of the city...

Judging by the MTGS in the Foil Sticker thing, I think that's a mock up made by someone that didn't understand the sets theme.
REMINDER: The theme is "Survivors will be killed. Resurrected ones will be killed again."
Edit: The Mock ups flavor text is now more in the sets theme.
