I can't begin to fathom how crappy this lich creature is. It's worse than whip of erebos in about fifty ways, and for some reason is three color, super overcosted and the only benefit I see is "flying and trample" which seems pointless.
Don't like the sultai one but damn, mardu seems like it is getting extremely nice treats, I expect some kind of mardu deck in modern at this point besides burn splashing both W and B. Even if he had no other ability a 5/4 flying for 4 seems pushed, definitely nice.

Butcher of the Horde definitely seems playable. Kinda cool that you can play a Goblin Rabblemaster and sac the token it makes on turn 4 to give this guy haste. Kheru Lich Lord, however, probably won't be worth anything. Even in Commander, most BUG generals wouldn't want him, even The Mimeoplasm. He seems a little too random and has too weak a body, not to mention that he takes away from the Plasm's power.
Argh I’m so frustrated with the power level of this set, which I can only describe as “average!”
I expect every new card to be a Constructed staple. I expect every incoming set to completely invalidate current Standard. Do you expect me to have the patience to tolerate a card in standard for almost two years?!
That includes you, too, commons and uncommons! Don’t think you shouldn’t be Constructed-worthy just because of your lower rarity! If I see a new card designed for Limited, I will angrily condemn it as “Limited fodder.” How dare they support a format other than Constructed?!
Oh, and one more thing: I expect the cards not only to be powerful but to be obviously powerful! I have no tolerance for subtlety. You think I have enough time to test, experiment, or innovate?

Wow, I totally overlooked that you have to pay for Kheru Lich Lord, such a shame.
A BUG Zombie Wizard should be everything I want, but its underwhelming. Might be good in a Sidisi, Brood Tyrant commander deck though, especially if Sultai gets more cards that care about exiling.
I wish it was legendary, because I don't think it will see much play anyway.
