• September 2014 - Banishing Light, Journey into Nyx Uncommon
Original Art by Willian Murai BETTER THAN the Promo Art by Wesley Burt - Burt's art fails to capture that something is being exiled. This looks more like a burn spell art that was not used.
• October 2014 - Fanatic of Xenagos, Born of the Gods Uncommon
Original Art by Volkan Baga NOT AS GOOD AS the Promo Art by Zoltan Boros - Although slightly marred by the herp-derp face being made my the Centaur, the setting looks like a party I want to be at. The original art showed the Fanatical Centaur with dead Bambi - PETA is directing tersely-worded correspondence to WotC on this issue (maybe).
• November 2014 - Brain Maggot, Journey into Nyx Uncommon
Original Art by Min Yum NOT AS GOOD AS the Promo Art by Dave Kendall. Dave hit this one outta the park - the proof - I kinda threw up in my mouth a little just looking at this juicy ear parasite.
Thank you, Dave Kendall. That is saweeeet. In addition to awesome art this is one of my favorite Standard cards. Mark my words, this card is going to be a big player post-rotation.

Mildly unpleasant to look at the brains, but the worm itself is designed well and uses neat colors. The Nyx star pattern works.
RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.
