anti wrath enchantment? maybe vs control, seeing as it beats all the wraths including terminus. as far as the bonus goes, meh, not really important unless your dudes are mainly red.
Wow. Not only do we get Boros Charm for indestructability but we also have a way to prevent Oblivion Ring or Detention Sphere from exiling our creatures. I like it!
So I get buffs all around, and for 2 mana all creatures I played this turn get haste, or if combat isn't going my way somehow, I blink them all out after blockers and no one dies. I'm sure there are other ways to use it, but those were the most evident to me.
Remember when Mythic Rares were supposed to be cards that had unique effects and felt Mythic rather than cards that R&D wants to push in constructed? I'm so tired of this nonsense.
I wish my 4/4s with haste and first strike that acted as Goblin Warchiefs were better and didn't die to instants and overshadowed all other 4 drops in the format. And that they had evasion too, and some way to dodge wrath effects.
Knowing he was soon to leave wizards, never getting another chance to lead develop a set, Zac Hill just decided to push everything because it won't be him to clean up the mess.
Wow didn't realize it was mythic. Yeah this seems like a not-that-mythic mythic. Well, I guess they make mythic cards that appeal to Johnnies and Timmies, so they should make a few that appeal to Spikes too. But this seems strange as a mythic.
This...this is scary. Combat tricks, anthems, blink reabusability, all in one neat package?
As if Boros wasn't strong enough yet. Hoo boy.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Unfortunately, I don't think it returns itself. Exiling is part of the cost, not part of the effect, so I'm not sure that it counts as one of "those cards".

Why should they make Spike mythics? So Spikes can more money for the cards they need to play in competitive tournaments? This should have been a rare.
Actually, despite the control player in me dreading playing against this kinda thing, this is a really cool card. Pretty simple, but there are interesting things you can do with it. Blink your stuff on your turn, make it available for blocking. Blink it on my turn, make it available to attack hastily on your next turn. Combine it with ETB effects for max value (like Resto-Tusk-Serenity?).

Wow, everyone should go read Frank's article in the first post. Actually a good preview article, he does a good job of talking about the card and its interactions or uses, rather than just going "Welp, here's the card. How bout them apples?". Really, you should go read the article as it gives a nice little jumping off point.
Man I love this card.
there is so much awesome I really dont know how I gah...
first off in a dedicated boros list usually youll have enough beaters with R in their cost to make it at the least a +1/0 if not a full anthem effect. At the same cost as honor.
The second ability really just starts my gears turning at supa speed;
First off there's the obvious anti-any wrath or removal effect. They're even back in time to block later.
Also we get any awesome etb abilities, ones im excited for;
Fiend hunter, yep this is instant speed, play the hunter, exile him, perma exile one creature AND remove another when he hits field again.
A late-game champion of the parish doesn't look near as bad with this guy either, he'll get all the counters he could have when they come back in swinging.
I can even rebond a silverblade paladin if I want to.
DGM could be done at this card and id be satisfied.
now I just have to find some mythics...

I love Ghostway effects even if this one isn't sneaky. Seems random/wrong to have it a mythic rare but I'm still a fan of the card.

I don't quite know what this would do to Limited at rare, but I'm sure it wouldn't be pretty.
Easy Standard playability in a Boros deck with lots of creatures. Good luck getting them off the board and they're bigger than your guys.
Boros Reckoner's bottomed out in price. Expect it to rebound...

Hermit Druid Combo:
I was going to say this. This card could be beyond OP in Limited and they had to make it Mythic for that reason.

So Spikes don't complain that there's an entire rarity that excludes them...
EDIT: double-post sorry.
