Haste.
When Molten Primordial enters the battlefield, for each opponent, take control of up to one target creature that player controls until the end of turn. Untap those creatures. They have haste until the end of turn.
Yeap, pretty much exactly what everyone predicted in the Primordial speculation thread. Another nice Commander and Limited card, but still unlikely for Standard.
Hm, expected. I might actually try this in my Riku EDH in place of Insurrection. For an extra mana, I get a pair of hasty 6/4s and two creatures from each opponent, which is usually enough anyway, unless I'm playing against some kind of token deck or something.
I use the Duels Of The Planeswalkers layout, though I'm right-handed and keep my deck and GY to the left. I dare you to ask me how tempting it is to hold flying creatures in a floating pattern over the table.
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.
So the Black and Red ones have been proven quite predictable. Not a bad thing given that they're quite awesome.
As is noted, in Standard this guy is outclassed by Zealous Conscripts, but in multiplayer this guy is pretty freaking good. If the Conscripts rotate, it might see constructed play (6 hasty power AND a bunch of power coming from your own dude is quite likely to close up a game) but well...it's not that likely.

Wizards print good rares, players complain about cash grab. They print underwhelming rares, players complain that the cards suck. They spoil the best cards first, players complain about the insane prices of preorders. They spoil the meh cards first, players complain that this is the worst set ever.
So. I think I understand now.
As far as these forums are concerned, WotC can never do anything good because:
Card that is new and probably good = "pushed"
Card that is new and probably bad = "EDH/casual fodder"
Card that is a reprint = "lazy"
Card that is a better version of an older card = "power creep"
Card that is a weaker version of an older card = "worthless"
So the Black and Red ones have been proven quite predictable. Not a bad thing given that they're quite awesome.

Better yet. You make a janky ramp deck and run them BOTH! :3
While I expected the red one to have this sort of ability, even in EDH it doesn't feel nearly like an auto-include as the other primordials.
I dunno. Mass Mutiny is already a strong card. Tack a 6/4 haste onto it for 2 mana more and it's definitely a blowout. I expect this to close out many a game.

Awesome flavor note: He has a boar head. This is the Zhur-Taa's deity.
Man, I sure hope not. I'm secretly pining for a massive, ridiculous, mythic RG monster to represent the Gruul boar god, either in this set or Dragon's Maze.
The Primordial is nice enough. Compared to the rest of the cycle spoiled so far, it's the underdog. But hey, it's mono-Red, no reason for it to surpass the other colors for once, right R&D?
It's a Mass Mutiny, by the way, not Insurrection. This is way less of a blowout threat-changer than the other ones.
Still a nice card though, make no mistake.

BEST CARD IN SET (for me :D)
Its actually Mass Mutiny on a stick, nowhere near the power level of Insurrection. But it does come with on a 6/4 body that stays around after the turn, so its pretty good in its own right.
Man... my maelstrom wanderer deck just keeps getting new toys. It was always just my dumb fatties fair deck, then M13 kinda broke it with boundless realms and omniscience (and sometimes garruk), but then deadeye navigator and a set of cip effect fatties later... This cycle is going to be a multiplayer hit for a while till ppl are sick of them.
How much of this set is commander focused? 50% at this point?
Glancing at the spoiler you're sorta kinda close to right... I'd say theres over 42 of 110 cards that will see EDH play not including the lands (some budget folks will be fine using guildgates, the shocks are no brainers and the stage is nice in EDH too...) But that's being a bit unfair as a lot of those are playable in standard as well. That said yeah, they've been pumping out a lot of obvious EDH cards since they decided to promote the format. I for one would prefer they kept the EDH pushed cards in the EDH supplemental products and out of my boosters, but it makes incredible business sense for them to keep releasing cards for every demographic in the randomized product.
Ooh nice. I can see this one being used more than other ones, because of its ability to close out games faster. It likes a good card in an aggro deck. This gives me an idea for a 5 color etb deck with titans and primordials in it and other etb cycles with flicker stuff. I do wish they'd stop printing so many etb creatures. They could at least make some etb creatures that aren't better when you flicker them, like sage owl.
Everyone seems to think the green Primordial will involve some sort of destruction. If it does I don't think you'll have options since the other ones don't have options. What if the green one is a lifegain based one or token based one? For example, For each opponent you gain life equal to the highest converted mana cost among artifacts that player controls. Or, For each opponent put a 1/1 saproling into play equal the highest toughness among creatures that player controls.
I wouldn't mind saprolings and/or life. Who knows.

Pseudo-Insurrection is awesome. Glad to see the Red Primordial did not get the short end of the stick.

Ok, I guess. 7 mana is steep, but at least 6/4 haste is ok.
having it be "destroy noncreature permanent" would be less wordy, although being able to hit planeswalkers might be too much.

I feel like it did. I was really hoping for destroying a non-basic land from each opponent.

Has jace sig and avatar. Very green.
Just poking fun.
As a everything but green player (4 color control usually) what would green players want on the green primordial.
