Ok So they posted this link on the worlds coverage. What is it even suppose to mean??? Is PPP (Pro Planeswalker Points) taking over the Pro Players Club???
Originally PWP points earned at worlds weren't going to count as competitive, so would mean they didn't contribute towards qualifying for the next pro tour
A lot of people who are currently tracking for top 100 are not at worlds. They figured they would be able to qualify, and have been chasing points hard
Then at worlds, they announced that the points would count as competitive after all. This was not taken to well by the people not at worlds, as it seemed to be a real change, and many have ground hard over the last two months, and the huge points on offer at worlds could negate that
Because of the reaction to the initial change, they clarified that lists with and without these points would count
It either was a case of them realising they messes up and quickly trying to fix it, or was the plan all along to keep two lists. Who knows
Are they going to do the same thing for calculating byes for the next quarter of Grand Prixs?
I doubt it. There are a lot more byes handed out than Pro Tour invites, and I don't see as huge of a backlash if they hand you say 2 byes instead of 3.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
