Correct. Last year's Comic Con had a preview image of Sword of Body and Mind (for From the Vault: Relics), and some preview tidbits about mechanics and characters for the block (Elspeth and Koth, and that a Mirrodin mechanic would be returning).
If we're getting similar stuff this time, we might expect to see the Innistrad preview card included in From the Vault: Legends and confirmation of the planeswalkers involved in the set, plus maybe some bits and pieces about some mechanics. Also some new art.

Makes sense, as GenCon is just around the corner. Heck we might even have a full FTV reveal at Comic Con... After all, last year they weren't so close together in dates.
I think it can stay up if people can be responsible and not fill it with spam or other nonsense. (That's a big "if")
What? The ascii ***** up there isn't an omen?
Really though, until there is more information all I can say is: I really hope this isn't a reprint from Alara block. If the preview card for FTV:Legends is another Alara card I will loose a lot of faith in Wizards. I bet it's something cool and something black. Although if it's black then does that reduce the odds of One-Eye being in the set?

Are they actually doing something ISD related at GenCon? The schedule posted on the mothership doesn't really indicate anything specific. Maybe AaFo and KeNa will slip some surprises into their Commander decks when they go gunslinging, but that's all I can think of.

Don't you think they put into account that certain cards have promos of them already? That's not to say ink eyes doesn't deserve a shot oh no. But I believe that because it already has two arts already it has less of a chance of being in there. Though I love ink eyes to death its such a sweet card. I'm still pulling for sakashima and azami haha needs mah blue legends!
But all of this is very true but speculative. We already know the "black" set torment wasn't the most popular. I have faith that they can bring a black feel to every color. What a black set should be is flavor not actual color. I'm just pulling for a cool and original legend that I can use for edh

Every year they have something displayed in the main dealers hall. It's not nessessarily much, but in years past:
Kamigawa there was a huge spread in Lotus Noir that was given away in swag bags (first look at the art)
RAV there was the animated video that was playing in the closed circuit TVs
Time Spiral was a huge art wall
LOR was a huge mural of the planeswalkers
Shards, ZEN, and Mirrodin... I forget but I think it was just posters with basic land art to show the general feel of the new world.
So nothing huge, but back Kami-TS... it was the first look we had at the new fall set. Now that Comic Con and PAX have become more popular with Magic players, it's less the case. The only reason I know about the early years as opposed to the later years is because I was the one on the floor uploading pictures to Salvation! I haven't been working the Con in a while though and my spies have been less than helpful. Usually PAX gives us full cards though. Last year we got Venser and Mox Opal I know...
Well the Lotus Noir spread for Kami wasn't any actual cards, just an interview, art, and discriptions of the world.
This was when Lotus was trying to break in the US, but it didn't go over so well. Besides, even if Lotus got the entire book again, it's still to early for that.

I was talking about Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed since a lot of folks have already said he might be in there. Ink Eyes is cool too, but.... boooo.
Not as a planeswalker but as the normal human she used to be. They printed planeswalkers of old legends before, maybe this time they could print an "Origins" version of a planeswalker and tell the full story of her ascension She could have an ability to "light up" and tutor a Liliana planeswalker when you satisfy a condition

But have they said somewhere that they're going to print new cards on that FTV?
And as for planeswalkers' old lives before ascending, I'd rather have the oldwalkers to get a chance on an FTV like that (YEAH.RIGHT. Dream on self...) because Liliana and the other Lorwyn walkers has a bigger chance of those kind of cards being printed in upcoming sets whereas the oldwalkers won't have any more chance like that. I mean heck, how many Jace cards do we have now right?

When it was first announced we were told that FtV: Legends will include a preview card from Innistrad (just like Hellkite Overlord in Dragons and Sword of Body and Mind in Relics).
I've seen these comic strips before but I can't recall if they are all the same image/old image etc.
Does the Plated Geopede (right) and Poison counter (left?) behind him alude to anything?
Those are just leftover props from a Massive Magic game from a while back. It was Mark versus Richard Garfield (I think) with people from the audience holding up the giant cards they played with.

Ah, okay. It would be awesome to get a return of Phyrexian mana and poison, two mechanics which I believe deserved to see more real estate in future sets. I don't follow the story, but maybe with the darker block coming up Phyrexians would be able to make an appearance.
But all of this is very true but speculative. We already know the "black" set torment wasn't the most popular. I have faith that they can bring a black feel to every color. What a black set should be is flavor not actual color. I'm just pulling for a cool and original legend that I can use for edh
Phyrexian mana did a fairly decent job at being "black without being black". After all, isn't one of blacks tenets that it gets access to abilities it shouldn't have in exchange for life?

Oh yea >.< haha was on the smart phone so I guess it got jumbled up or I'm just dyslexic haha!
But yes Xiahou Dun, I believe should be in there but Sun Ce was also talked about and I wouldn't mind him either.
But seeing as it goes, they might do a stupid move and make 5 mono color 5 bi color and 5 tri color which would severely piss me off for lack of creativity.
However I believe there is room for 2 "black" legends. But I think that the Innistrad one has a high chance of being black.
I'll just be upset if we go back to torment time with half a set being black... I hope the set is flavorfully black.

Lu Bu, Master-at-Arms needs to be in here, with Dynasty Warriors art..except now he gives your opponents 5 0/1 Peasant tokens who scream "It's..it's..LU BUUU!" when he enters the battlefield.
I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
In the product information of FtV:L they already said there would be a preview card so we can confirm that there is at least one legendary creature in the set. From what I remember they didn't spoil the preview card early before.

Pretty sure something similar happened last year for Scars, right?
Spoilers from the panel below:
Original art for an ISD card named Creepy Doll:
If we're getting similar stuff this time, we might expect to see the Innistrad preview card included in From the Vault: Legends and confirmation of the planeswalkers involved in the set, plus maybe some bits and pieces about some mechanics. Also some new art.

I've asked a friend who is headed to Comic Con to take pictures for me. Likely, other folks on this forum will beat me to posting anything, though.
