Maro just shed some light on what card rarities mean over on Tumblr.
Any cards that pre-existed this product (aka “old” cards), got whatever rarity they already had. The new cards’ rarity worked as such: If the card appeared in all five decks it was listed as a common. If it appeared in 3 decks it was listed as uncommon. If it appeared in 1 deck it was listed as a rare. The wedge legendary creatures were listed as mythic rares.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
This is known, but I'm not sure it has been posted anyway.
Even so, this rarity system only applies to the brand new cards. The reprints won't be affected by this distribution. See: Sol-Ring (uncommon) confirmed in all 5 decks.

So something I've been thinking about is, are the new wedge generals the only mythics we're getting? I don't think WotC has printed mythics in a precon type thing before, so this might be a stupid question.

The wedge dragons are all Mythic...and it appears that Malfegor is in the WBR deck as well (from the image of the sheet), so I'm not sure how many reprinted Mythics we'll see, or if any pre-Mythic regular rares will get bumped up.
...but as far as new cards, I worked out the math in the compiled info thread:
1x common
10x uncommon
40x rare (well, 30x rare and 10x mythic)
It seems to me, that if this is right, the 15 cards in each deck should be easy to figure out:
2 Wedge Generals
1 Two-color General
3 Vows
3 mono color uncommons
3 Mono color rares
1 mono color Join Forces card
1 command tower
and 1 more rare (of which I can't quite figure out)
that leaves 7 cards that are not unique to any one deck, leaving 8 unique cards (8 x 5= 40, 40 + 7 = 47, 47 + 2 more vows + 2 more mono color uncommons = 51)
as for that last rare, the mana-charged dragon may suggest a second, non-1cmc, join forces card in each deck. At the same time, it could very well be the red version of the cycle, meaning the entire cycle is not 1 cmc
just my thoughts :-P
Edit: to clarify, my reasoning on the mono color rares and uncommons is that wizards may want to show equal representation of the colors in the decks, thus one unique rare per color per deck, as well as the uncommons, not counting any cycles
Hold up...how did we get it confirmed that Lightning Greaves is in all 5 decks? I know we got Sol Ring in all 5, but that was explicitly stated in WotC's preview.

It was a throw-away line mentioned in the preview article for mana-charged dragon.

EDIT: Duh about Greaves. Deleted.
"Any cards that pre-existed this product (aka “old” cards), got whatever rarity they already had."
Lightning greaves was an uncommon, so it stays an uncommon.

Lightning Greaves was printed in the set called Mirrodin, which means it was NOT printed in Commander, but re-printed, so it is not a new card.
It was also printed at Uncommon, which means it reatians that rarity.
It's in all 5 decks, as previously mentioned, not 3, as per the info above.
Good to know that all the commons will fit in every deck though.
Thanks to Heroes of the Plane Studios for the amazing sig.

I figured DbD to only be in the political deck.
Would learn my licks with a bottle neck slide
one of the unspoiled legends focuses on dragons demons and angels so it fits well in there too.
not sure about RUG though

My uncommons cube really wants them.

So I guess the question is, are we getting any bumped down mythic rares or are they additional mythics to the three on the covers?
