Loving the living weapon ability. Now THAT is a cool mechanic, especially since it gets around the age old problem of having to generally wait a turn before you can equip something with your shiny new toy.
The "poisoned" mechanic seems ripe for abuse as well.
Interesting one of the GDS2 contestants had a mechanic similar to the Living weapon one.
That mechanic has been proposed for years by tons of different people as an aura mechanic (and something like seven out of the hundred round 3 submissions in GDS2 included a variant.) It's pretty funny to see it finally turn up on equipment instead.
Living weapon is awesome, wow so the phyrexians are way ahead of the poor mirrarns.
I mean really Orcish Oriflame vs a Brainbots?

Don't you see that the whole aim of Moderators is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make infractions literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed, will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten.
I can't help but note that the Paladin curves right into his Shield... excellent work, Wizards.
Also: I'm sure this has been discussed, but isn't Battle cry sort of the most elegant non-Infect answer to Infect? Giving decks dealing normal damage a way to cheat in the race should have a really interesting effect in limited, especially if red gets a hasty guy with it. I like how aggressively the Paladin is costed; I have high hopes for the limited format.
Okay... so it isn't Preview Week 1, but we're getting a heads-up on the MBS mechanics? Am I the only one pleasantly confused by this?
On an alternate note, "poisoned" should help push Infect decks along. I love the new Rats, and more Infect creatures with a toughness higher than 1 is a good sign.

May your games be chaotic and your decks be Rogue.
I just love the fact that Infect is getting out of G/B/Artifact. I knew it would happen eventually, but not this soon...
I love the fact that players can be "poisoned" now, and Living Weapon may be one of my favorite mechanics of all time.
Also, the Accorder Paladin has already begun pushing Mono W Knights. Prepare for an onslaught from a T2 Accorder, T3 Exemplar (I could go for a 4/2 Indestructible, Battlecry on turn 3)
more proliferate, more infect and a new poisoned keyword(i know it's not really a keyword but i dont know what it is technically) I'm liking this set already
Living weapon is pure card advantage, I love it. I knew Phyrexia was going to need a powerful mechanic to counter battle cry, and this may be just the thing. It also demonstrates the adaptive nature of Phyrexia incredibly well, as you can now turn the corpses of your minions into modifications for your still living creatures. I love it!

As much as I'm against the OTT view that this card is going to solo tournaments, cure cancer and make Susan Boyle attractive I'm not really a fan of the opposing camp who think it slaughters puppies and sired Justin Bieber.
Priests of Norn seems to be one of the better infect cards already!
Edit: Even me who is pretty much sick of hearing "knights deck" being thrown around must admit -- it curves very nicely now. Turn 2 Paladin, turn 3 Exemplar, turn 4 Hero.
I like the flavorful concept behind Living Weapon, but Germ tokens? Eh, wish they could have used a better name than that. I understand that Germ does hit several good definitions, but it just sounds so stupid to me.
Living weapon seems really cool. It doesn't seem likely for their to be non-black or non-germ ones but I kinda wish there would be. I mean I guess they can't get doombladed at least.
And the black removal seems really strong in limited infect. Kill your guy, regardless of color and then take another poison please!
Living weapon is too specific. A B germ token? What if they want to use the mechanic on something else? Can they have it make other kinds of tokens? I could see a G living sword or something. Other than that, it's a really nice mechanic.
I'm glad that there are Phyrexians of every color, and with their religious zeal of late, W is a natural fit.
