Bloodshot Trainee checks out in the Orb. I think, given how unlikely it would be on other cards (Bloodshot 3, Trainee 2, Trainee's 1) means that this card is in.
The uses for him were very limited back in TPF. There weren't enough ways to beef it up and it was an uncommon in the third set, making it diffuclt to base your deck around.
However, he could end up being pretty beastly in this set.
Eh. I'll stick with Cyclops Gladiator for 4 cmc. at least i get to swing and burn simultaneously.

~Intelligence is Bliss; Ignorance is Denial.
Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
not to get off topic but forsee was in FS but wasn't futureshifted so it's just a reprint not a preprint : P
we already have darksteel axe and there will be some equipment. i'm just wondering how much power increasing cards there'll be with infect. +2 power is a lot for an infector
Foresee wasn't Future Shifted
I liked this card the first time and I'll like it this time too. Equipment will sure make this card pretty good on Limited
EDIT: Nath'd (for the third time today)

I think a little reading comprehension is in order here. asw112 was referring to future shifted cards - you know, the ones WotC said would give a hint to and/or be reprinted in a future set? Not the Time Spiral block... So, I'm unsure why everyone is harping on the number of Time Spiral block reprints in response to this being the first future shifted reprint since Future Sight.
Makes perfect sense to be printed in this block, since there will be an abundance of Equipment to boost its power. Just like Spikeshot Goblin before it.

Everything mentioned so far in regard to future shifted reprints (except Forsee) has been an actual future shifted reprint. So I think everyone's reading comprehension is just fine (except for that one guy who said 'Forsee' and maybe yours).

I don't even know right now.
However, he could end up being pretty beastly in this set.
And a fine card for a block that probably will have a lot of Equipments.
Four:
- Bloodshot Trainee
- Boldwyr Intimidator
- Phosphorescent Feast
- Graven Cairns
EDIT:
Forgot two more:
- Mistmeadow Skulk
- Mass of Ghouls

- No Brains, All Feelings Cube
Mass of Ghouls.

GONZO
Genius, fast, and long eared.
Edit: Narth'd
Also, Trainee is interesting to see in this set, but it is definitely easier to pump him up this time, with equipment abound.
Take a mechanic from the pre-mirrodin era, and a mechanic after the mirrodin era, and create a card that flavorfully melds both mechanics.
Whoops!
I always forget the Core Sets.

Obviously some were extremely future shifted and others just somewhat.
Feel free to bid on my cards here!

Also Mass of Ghouls and Mistmeadow Skulk.
On topic - Bloodshot Trainee still isn't a great card, but should be more useful than last time, due to the quantity of Equipment available.

Liliana's Corruption

Mirrodin used to have a minicycle like this: Spikeshot Goblin, Viridian Joiner and Auriok Bladewarden.
