I have divined your fate. You shall find your nemesis, a catastrophic clash. Devastation, misery for all, the unleashing of horrible curses and ferocious powers. Ruin, such ruin that I dream each night of blessed peace, assured that the universe is in balance once more...
Looks neat. I like elf tribal with Zendikar, and this looks like it would be fun for it. Second ability seems underwhelming with Garruk and Stampede in the format.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!

Overrun is much better than Stampede.
At first glance, I thought unplayable but it's actually not all that bad.
This deck is really powerful and just smashes a lot of the popular decks that people will play in your grinders. Coral Merfolk is a surprisingly efficient threat and It That Betrays is an excellent finisher in a format where there is little removal, allowing you to grind out games against opponents that are proving hard to kill. I strongly recommend this deck. Valakut Titan decks have nothing on UB Coral/Betrays.
Im really interested about what his role is in the whole story. Regardless I like it it seems solid nothing flashy about it but nothing bad either ^^

SonofaBith - Wizards was so excited about making the packaging for Modern Masters 2 recyclable, they decided to make most of the rares and all but 1 of the UC's recycle-bin ready too. Convenient!
Well, if I ever make an EDH Elf deck (which I'm sure I will at some point), I now have my general. As for standard, though, are there really enough good elves to make him worthwhile? Fauna Shaman is cute with him, but he doesn't work well with the obligatory Vengevines you'd have to run with the Shaman. Too bad you won't be able to cascade into him off Bloodbraid Elf in standard, lol.
Regeneration can be very powered, and with all the Elves you would have you should have the mana for it no problems. If you can protect this guy I actually think elves could get pretty strong. But until then standard Vampires and Goblins are still stronger on the tribal front.
Elf Decks generate a ridiculous amount of mana. Why would you play overrun when you can play this?
For anybody arguing that this is a bad card, you might as well say that overrun is a bad card. If NOTHING else, this is an elf that allows you to survive day of judgment in once piece. That by itself isn't bad at all. Considering further however, that it gives you a 1 turn clock to sweep the board vs. elves makes it ridiculous.
Furthermore, Overrun = completely dependent on having a large amount of creatures on the board. This card at the very least gives you a body with regenerate to boot.
People who are calling this card crap really have no clue what they're talking about.

I've been willing to make an Beasmaster Ascension deck with Arbor Elf and Llanowar Elves, this guy is very good for the deck. It even makes elves resilent to DoJ! Hopefully wizards will print some nice cheap mana elves to make this happen, please please do it.
I always wanted to make a casual deck with that and this could help me, thanks wotc!

I like it, will be testing it in my Elf deck, great control answer.

I'll get one for my casual elf deck then. He's like a variation of Kahmal, Fist of Krosa

... well, one anyway.
Not really enough for an elf deck in standard. Too bad he can't regen himself.

I saw this guy and laughed. Then my thoughts, in order:
"Yeah, I guess he isn't THAT good. Elvish Archdruid doesn't do enough unless you have a million elves, and having a million elves is stupid"
"...so how else can I make a ton of mana? JORAGA TREESPEAKER!!"
"That kinda sucks though, I'm losing at least 3 damage with every Elf I tap for mana... ooh, Ajani Goldmane can give them all Vigilance! :D"
I like this guy's interaction with Nissa Revane. I wouldn't count out the possibility of Standard Elves, and not just because I'm a Johnny idiot.
Also, the fact that his regeneration ability costs {G} (not summoning sick) makes him a SUPERB piece of anti-Day of Judgement tech.
