This is old info. But I'll say once again..HORRENDOUS art.

I wasn't sure if it had been confirmed yet. Sorry :|

The art isn't horrendous. It's different from normal Magic art, but not horrendous. Especially Myr Enforcer. He looks better than ever!

I was aware of all but Wren's Run. Interesting!

Other than Enforcer, all the other ones have inferior art than the original....

Seriously, are the people who's doing art selection for the Shards block the same as these promo people? Because I find that hard to believe.

The merrow reejery art reminds me why you don't get Gremlins(from the movie) wet--because then they look like that picture..

Wait, why does the Reejery look like it's from Shadowmoor? I'm pretty sure that merfolk came out of Lorwyn...

As for the rest of these arts, I don't really approve of any of them. I suppose the Kitchen Finks art makes more sense, they're stealing food to give to you, giving you more life, instead of eating all YOUR food...but all in all, I would just take a foil version of the original arts of these cards rather than these.

That's the problem with cards getting new art, isn't it? It's like a sequel. It can't simply be as good as the first. It has to be better to be even considered.

Personally, I really like the Myr Enforcer art. The others...not so much. I guess I just love Ouphes so much, especially Kitchen Finks to see them reduced to boggarts.

Eh, I certianly wouldn't call vanquisher unplayable. And reegery was good before the rotation at least.

I like the Vanquisher and Reejery isn't awful. Finks is terrible though :\

The Enforcer has a great picture, he looks so much more savage.

The Reejay reminds me of merfolk more from Rath block than anything....

So bad... it hurts. And after conflux's amazing art the standreds raised.

I'm not going to look a free foil set of Kitchen Finks in the mouth, no matter how bad the art is, and really, it isn't that bad.

The finks look like house elves, the vanquisher looks constipated, the reejery looks like it has fin rot, and the enforcer looks badass. In retrospect one out of four for promo art is actually ahead of the curve for Wizards. They're improving, good job!

The Enforcer is cool, and even the finks are all right. You can actually clearly see what they look like in this picture, at least. I don't like the reejerey, but I don't play merfolk so I don't particularly care. And I'll stick with my scantily clad female Wren's Run Vanquisher any day ;).

I don't like the Enforcer due to the fact that his new art contradicts his flavor. I mean, other myr monitor other species, he monitors the myr so why the hell he's fighting auriocs aka humans? The quality of this art is fine but they really could change flavor so it would fit.

Same for the Reejerey - there shouldn't be any in Shadowmoor. And same for Vanquisher: first - SHA elves have no access to moonglove (which should explain her deathtouch, right?), second - if it's Shadowmoor, there's no Wren's Run there. Well, it is there but under a different name so it doesn't fit.

And I just don't like art on the Finks. Then, it's not like there was real magic club in my city, it's not like we have any FNMs going so no points in complaining.

Couldn't they just give Cryptic Command out again? Who would complain?

I definitely think that Vanquisher and Enforcer are superior, but Finks and Reejerey suck!

I am like one of the few people who actually like the Merrow Reejery art. Although I don't like the Kitchen finks art nor the Myr Overlord art.
