I was wondering if anyone knew what the 10th token was. I think it's the Beast that Godsire makes, but I could be wrong as there isn't a scan of it anywhere. If anyone could confirm or correct this it would be much appreciated.
Actually, does anyone have images of all ten tokens? We saw no godsire tokens opened in our entire group, which was odd. Lots of goblins, soldiers, homonculus, etc. but none of the big one.

I think you mean "PoN", but it seems to me that "PwN" is more appropriate
(the 'w' stands for 'win', I think)

I think that WoTC felt that a lot of the players thought Standard was becoming mundane and a joke from all the nuked cards floating around. R&D took a vacation, and MaRo just started reprinting things.

This isn't really odd, the tokens are inserted in proportion to their producer's rarity, so a token that is only produced by one Mythic will be much rarer than one produced by a common or multiple commons.

i think you are on to something here, i guess we have a new rarity now, Mythic Rare Token jejejejeje, just kidd of course. anyway, we may have a chance of seeing ONE godsire token if we, lets say, open a complete box or something like that
rare tokens just seems abusurd, not to mention absolutely stupid, however we've seen the tokens, it seems from all of the other ones. however i wonder if there is un-accompanied art in the style guide

The Merciless Lord of Torture, Permanently Bound To: ">[THE PACK] 11/5/63 - 11/25/09 Goodbye mom, i'll always love you...
I really don't feel like turning my computer on and unburying my scanner, so I'm just going to post a cell phone pic from my laptop for the time being.
[e] It might be worth noting that I pulled Godside a couple of packs later, as an Open-Dueling reward.
I dunno Ravarshi, seems to make sense to me. If all tokens were equal in rarity, wouldn't it suck to have all these Godsire Beast Tokens floating around when maybe once every third week someone will open a Godsire in their limited pool? Although I did see multiple Ajani's at my store's prerelease and we didn't have that many people, so maybe mythics are more common than we thought... (and no they weren't the release party Ajani's :p)
Yeah sure you may as well just flip over some card that is sitting unused on the table, but sometimes that can cause memory problems.
EXCEPT IT HAS EVASION AND COUNTS YOUR OPPONENTS CREATURES AS WELL AS YOUR OWN AND CREATURE TOKENS WTF DEAR GOD! DO YOU NOT SEEEEEE THE SHENANIGANS THIS GUY IS ABOUT TO UNLOAD ON YOUR FACE? NANTUKO HUSK IS ALL LIKE "LOL MEET MY BFF JILL!" ALL THE DEVOUR CREATURES ARE LIKE "LOLOLOLOLOL"
It makes sense for more commonly used tokens to be in higher quantities... except that when Godsire does hit play, it is more often going to be making more than just one token.

The game won't going to go on long enough for that.

Well, it probably will, but it's not really that necessary. Afterall, any number greater than 1 8/8 will likely seal the game short of a wrath effect. It's not like there's more than a few cards in a whole set that can possibly stop something that big.
I think they just forgot to write that on the token. it's something they should put there.
No other token has text reading "~ is [color]," though. They're all done by frame color. I think they like to avoid technical rules issues with that text as much as possible. Afterall, the token is already those colors because the ability said so. If it actually has that text, though, it would still be those colors even if the ability were removed by some kind of effect. That's unnecessarily complicated for a token that's already the 3 colors.
It's similar to how they didn't make a Spawnwrithe token at all because it would have to have nearly all the characteristics of the Spawnwrithe card. It's part of "the rules we don't expect you to know" section of the rulebook.
Oddly enough, at the prerelease, I opened a Godsire and the token in the same pack. I flipped out, but I eventually came to the belief that it may not have been a coincidence and that they always came with the token.
GB Elves <-man I hate this deck, it has a 50/50 matchup against Tier 1/2 but loses to jank aggro most of the time. RB Blightning <-Autopilotting you to victory 0-2 drop.

...Should I flip out again?
Yes, you should. I opened a Godsire, but no token. At the end, a friend got the token in one of his prize packs and made sure that I knew about it. I figure(*) that the odds of getting Godsire and the token in the same pack are pretty unlikely.
* - Not an actual figure. No calculations have been done to ensure this.
people were cracking mythic rares all around me at the sealed. i didn't get any (in fact my best rare was ooze garden). i then open a freinds pack for him (it came from the pre con) and it had a rafiq, so this was kinda insult to injury i guess since its not my card. i go 3-1 at the pre release and win 3 packs. i finaly pool a mythic rare, and lol it was an ajani. the pre release wasn't kind to me. i did trade some old stuff i don't use for a sarkan vol, so i guess i did ok.

Someone at my Prerelease opened a Godsire and didn't get a token with it. It may have been just incredible coincidence.
And to the person who provided the scan, thanks! I was curious as to what it looked like.

Too bad they don't make foil tokens, then you'd have the Epic Rare combo of foil Godsire and foil token.
:mad:I found that out tonight
