what would the hellkite be sideboarded against? there's plenty of other destruction cards and for the 6 mana the hellkite costs, i'd rather have duplicant, trik, or engine.
liquimelt coating seems worth testing. very much so...
if there was a black splash, the black spellbomb would look good, but crypt is 0 mana and does the same thing without black mana

Spellbomb doesn't need black mana to remove a graveyard, but it has the bonus of giving you card draw if you can pay the black. it also doesn't get shut off by Chalice for 0 which is a common turn 1 play for dredge and stax....
And about Hellkite, it seems more versatile than the other cards as it answers more types of cards than the others, it can also clear multiple threats. I thought it was at least something worth testing out. i Know a few Mud players that were testing it in their decks thats why i brought it up
well, maybe a split of spell bombs and crypts. the spell bombs for this deck are sort of like 1 mana crypts since i dont think the deck can support black as well, without moving to a 5c mana base which would make us loose Anger. already the WRG mana base with mishra's workshops occationally screws with you so to splash black might be fatal...
right now i'm trying 3 liquimelt coatings and an extra gorilla shaman over the leylines that never seem to do anything...i'll report back

Is sylvan replica supposed to be sylvok replica? Not trying to be a d-bag here, just wanting to make sure because I plan on testing with your list. It looks solid, and I have always loved playing survival. I can't wait to test mox opal and wurmcoil engine. Finally some new and interesting vintage power cards.

well, new version after much testing.
its faster and more resiliant but doesn't have the edge it used to vs. combo. blackgives bob who keeps stuff going even without any survivals or workshops, the down side being that it was better to cut sundering titan and trik(whos sort of bad now any way) thatn take 6-8 points of damage from many cards. i added in the hellkite over duplicant since predator tezz was pissing me off and all over the place.

I agree with this statement. I do like the Phyrexian one a lot more than the Mirran one, but I think I'll stick with my "What Color Would You Like Me To Beat You With Today?" and "T That Ass" shirts.
yeh the list above out of date. the coatings are terible. wires don't do enough.

i'm thinking of testing either mogg fanatic or grim lavamancer in the spot of vampiric tutor. i hate that it puts things on top and it would be far more relevant to have some thing that can kill Bobs, opposing welders and other mis annoying things

darklast could be cool since it would also fill the grave with welder targets. the problem would be finding it easily. when a deck like Bobstorm or Tezz drops a turn 1 Bob, if you don't have a DT or dark blast in hand, you can't kill it. with a creature as a killer, you get basically 4 extra copies of it.
thorn is good in this deck, but it sucks against fish decks so i keep it in the sideboard.

Shriekmaw will kill Bob and Cobra on the cheap, is tutorable and makes a fine beater if need be.

triskellion doesn't really doenough now adays. for six mana it should win you the game. its nice that its weld able but its deosn't quite do what it used to simply becasue the creatures that matter either matter earlier or are bigger. same rings true for Nullstone gargoyle. if they just cast a mox their home free and its terribly ineffective again creature based decks. duplicant is good in the board because it hits SotSW, Iona emrakul and other misc fatties but again, its lack luster early on when its needed to disrupt which is what that slot would be for. duplicant i keep in the sideboard for dredge and oath though.
combo i haven't found to be a problem so cannonist aren't needed. basically i cut them for Bobs early on in the testing(which is y i'm in black rather than the white of the original list i found)
i think mogg fanatic is looking good for the spot, mostly because it doesn't need hatse and aswell as two cards in the graveyard to actually kill bob(and if you have that set up, you probly should be winnign that turn or the next)
trik might see the board for my version, but i just don't see him doing enough early on.

Mogg fanatic is a card I like, but if your'e welder/survival, then I'd say perilous myr warrants a look. It also can double as a win condition of sorts.
really excited about one of the few vintage playable cards from MBS... phrexian revoker. especially good here since its a tutorable answer to about anything

despite having 8 high cmc cards, the avrg cmc of the deck is still only 1.81, which is actually lower than many Tezzvault/Jacecontrol decks running 4 fow+ tezz+jace+inkwell...
basically its a matter of is the pain worth the gain. in this case as with most cases with Bob, it is.
the problem with riddleswith is that you don't actually net cards unless you have a squee. also its a pathetic late game top deck.
a few things with the dredge match it:
A) you can always use sylvok replica to blow it up. in addition you should be bringing in more replicas and the nature's claims to deal with leyline of the void so you have even more ways to kill it
B) you can ignore it. the only thing that makes dredge scary are the bridges. unless there is a leyline of the void out(whihc causes a whole different problem) you can use mogg fanatic, ingot chewer(if you keep it in) wedler or sylvok replica to get rid of the bidges. after that its just you vs ichorids, blood ghasts, and most likely an iona. if you have the engine out, you pretty much win. if you don't you still have 2-3 turns to find engine or duplicant(which comes in here too) since they don't have an army of zombies.
i guess adding 1-2 relics couldn't hurt...you can never have too much grave hate in eternal

as bad as it is, you could try Sparkmage Apprentice over fanatic since you keep card parity. it's unlikely you're going to have GGR1 anyways on turn 1 without a ridiculous hand and sparkmage can still beat face after killing bob, cobra, welder, etc. plus, it can still kill itself to help vs. dredge.
