Are you at all afraid of getting blown-out by a countered Crop Rotation? Do you think it would work to just add more Bazaars (if that's what you're searching for) or Imperial Seal if you're looking for Strip or Academy?
Are the maindeck Cap and Bridge just metagame calls?
Doom~
Crop has always been about timing yeah it does suck when it gets countered but it dosn't much make an effect unless your going for a fast turn 1 shop into something big. about half the time i search for bazaar the other half its a call depending on board position or if i have a crucible or what im holding sometimes it just fires away a 1charge gemstone for a fresh one. Ive done alot of testing with it and its really just timing if you fire off a welder and its not countered your fine with a crop and most of the time i try to crop EOT or responding to a waste or strip so i still get a 2 for 1 in that case.
The bridge and cap are not a huge meta call to be honest at first it was but testing and playing more the bridge is just amazing. even without bazaar running its rare to have a hand with a well played stax deck. there really isnt a bad match up for it.
The cap is also just amazing and an MVP i mean what deck is there you dont want something gone? mirror im taking your welders, fish im taking your preds and fluxes, oath bye bye targets, tez GTFO, the deck heard you only run 3 win con. Mono black bye bye helm and 2x depth hope i dont have a waste or strip for last =)
When it comes to the few spots that can be melded around those 2 are def on the list when it comes to molding for your meta so good eye on catching that too tho =)

I must say the Jug-O-Spheres main are a pain. It's another lock piece. As a TPS player, it's just another headache for me to try and get around. I think they are very good in MUD/Aggroshop but they deserve a spot in 5c Stax too. I've played against Rome with it as well as watched it in other MUs where it just shined. It's a sphere on a stick... seems A-OK. They make this MU even more in Stax favor. I cannot think of a scenario where they are bad. Test them and you'll see.
Anyone ever run Thirst for Knowledge in Stax? I plopped it in recently (along with Sculpting Steel, taking out 2x Powder Keg) but haven't really been able to tell yet if it's doing anything good or bad. Seems like good synergy though, not sure why I've never seen it.
I only picked up 5 packs of Worldwake so far but did snag one jug-o-sphere (and an Abyssal Persecutor, woop), though I think I'd only play it if I went back to the MUD build I was messing with before switching to 5c (too bad I picked up 4 beta Jugs before Worldwake came out...)
This is what I would change SB in depending on the match-up from this list:
Dredge: - They mulligan to Bazaar to win, so you have to Mulligan to Pithing Needle to keep up... unless you have Tormod's Crypt and a Tutor in your opening hand then that's ok too.
-4 Smokestack, -4 Thorn of Amethyst, -4 Tangle Wire, -1 Bazaar of baghdad
+3 Pithing Needle (name bazaar), + 3 Tormod's Crypt, +1 Tabernacle, +3 Nature's Claim (for Leyline and Chalice), +1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind, +2 Eon Hub (for Ichorid)
Stax Mirror: Crucible is the most important piece of this matchup, you have to be able to get out of a Wasteland lock or you have no chance of winning. Beat them to the lock and the game is yours.
-1x Sundering Titan, -1x Smokestack, -4 Thorn of Amethyst, -2 Tangle Wire
+1x Sphinx of the Steel Wind, +1x Crucible of Worlds, +3 Nature's Claim, +3 Tormod's Crypt
TPS: Hard to say because Thorn is already MB. I guess your choice of Jester's Cap is good here but I don't like it personally.
-1 Crop Rotation, -Tangle Wire, -1 Smokestack
+1-2x Nature's Claim and 1x Tormod's Crypt probably.
Tezzerett: Pretty good matchup for us, just make sure you assume the control player and lock them down first before attempting to win the game. Don't rush the game, bait out their counterspells with Welders and Thorns/Stax/Wires then cast Crucible or Tinker ftw.
Fish/Zoo/Gobbos: This is a good matchup for us either way, just try to lock down their resources, cast Balance, Tinker into Triskelion... things like that.
-1 Bazaar of Baghdad, -1 Karn
+1 Tabernacle, +1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind
MUD: I normally play more defensively against MUD because they also run Thorns and Sphere of Resistance. Thorns don't really do much against them because they run so many artifacts anyway.
-4 Thorn of Amethyst
+1 Crucible of Worlds, +3 Nature's Claim
why take out crop rotation and imperial seal vs. oath? in the event you get eon hub down, both of these are much better than smokestack. i also feel like stax can be too slow to answer their fattie in this MU even if you don't use eon hub. but i feel like keeping both stax and hub in for that game is not worth it when you can use both tutors to get your pieces/get them out faster.
duplicant is also not a bad idea vs. oath, or at least i like siding him in. he's a great answer to iona who is the fattie of choice these days and he's not awful vs. hellkite/akroma either.
I've now dropped 3x Eon Hub and 1x Tabernacle for 4x Leyline of Sanctity which helps shut down Storm and Oath... it's also decent against Dredge decks that strip your hand with Cabal Therapy.
