MTG Salvation

this deck started as a 5cstax deck then evolved as i played a changed it. evetually it became what it is now. it has a Stax base with a larger focus on stuff like artifact interaction with welder, diciple of the vault and gorila shamman. or the the mana makers+stax artifacts + master of etherium. add karn to the mix and it get even more fun.



ideas to make it more powerful? it plays consistantly right now, but i want to make it more competative.

I think you can start with trying something else in place of Jitte and Disciple of the Vault.

Wasn't the recent buzz about 5C STAX because the unrestricted Enlightened Tutor (which searches for any card) and Crop Rotation (To get Workshop)?
Cutting those 2 colors seems odd, especially because the mana base is 5C anyways.

This is true,

Enlightened Tutor lets you pack fewer cards that are dead in multiples such as Crucible of Worlds in your deck. And you can have access to more of a toolbox disruption cards if you like. And with Crop Rotation you can easily add 1x Bazaar of Baghdad for uber brokeness card-drawing with the right cards to pair it with. You need to max out on Gemstone Mine and City of Brass tho.

true i have a %c mana base, but thats just because most of the 3c lands citpt and it was just easiest to put the mana base that way. i dont feel that dupliates of artifacts even ones like CoW are usless. worst comes to worst, it become 3 mana with lotus and welder. i don't really think the deck needs crop rotation and enlightened tutor. i already have 2 other tutors and i've never had trouble drawing what i need.

Your deck seems unrefined. As an avid staxx player, I recently went through a brutal learning curve for this deck. One thing I know though, is that you have a few dead cards MD and a less than optimal win condition and control set up.

First, make a decision on whether or not you want to be a Staxx player or a workshop aggro player.

Workshop decks are very synergetic (usually) and when you start throwing cards in, they become very slow and muttled.
