I think it's pretty much a given that the shrouded Inkwell Leviathan replaced Darksteel Colossus in most control decks. Has it in TPS as well? I know the deck you listed is pre-printing of Leviathan, but it's pretty much the only update the deck's been through.
It's undoubtfully the best combo deck in a vacuum, but I play AdNauseam Tendrils because it's easier to pilot ;p and wins without the graveyard. Dosen't pack force of will though.

The interesting thing about us legacy players is that we consider Force of Will, Dark Ritual, Blood Moon, Tarmogoyf and Swords to Plowshare to be fair.
I think TPS is the only deck where everyone hasn't switched over. I think most people have, but some still like the faster clock with Colossus. I use Inkwell though.
IMO, Mind's Desire stil deserves a spot here.
i find that it allows a better chance to go off quicker vs. having to wait and let your opponent find responces
and its just amazing storm. it definitely deserves a spot on the list

I know how extended teps works and all, but this deck is totally different or it looks like it at least.
I know why the rits/mana stuff is in here and the force of wills and the combo of course, but I think someone needs to explain a lot of the other, non standard stuff. I guess that the power 9 justify themselves, but are all the other random combos in here necessary?

I think you need to not complain that "someone needs to explain a lot of the other, non standard stuff" and ask a good, coherent question. There is no non-standard stuff in that list, it's all pretty standard. And the only other "random combo" is Tinker + DSC, which isn't random at all.
If you have a question about a specific card or cards then ask that coherently. The way you worded your question (sorry, demand) doesn't let us know what you want.
I'm glad there's finally a primer for this deck, I've been waiting to see some discussion on it.
I run Menendian's list, or:
-2 Grim Tutor
-1 Underground Sea
+1 Mind's Desire
+1 Rebuild
+1 Tolarian Academy
and my own sideboard.
I have a question for those of you with more experience with the deck (as I've been piloting it for about three months, and to only two tournaments):
What impact do you think the new "trap" counter will have on this deck? Is it just another Force of Will to play around?, or is it more(less) of a threat?
Private Mod Note

I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
IMO, it's more of a threat than FoW in the sense that it will straight up counter Mind's Desire or Tendrils and all of the copies, but also less effective in that they can't use it to counter an early Ritual -> Necro or Land + Mana Crypt -> Tinker, etc. Basically I think it will even out and we just need to make sure to Duress first or have protection (like we should be doing anyway).
vs Dredge I bring in the 4 Leylines, 1 Helm and 2 Extirpates.
vs Fish I bring Engineered Explosives, Hurkyls (if they play Rods) and Chain of Vapor (if they play Gaddock Teeg). I've been told to try Infest instead of EE, so I'll test that out.
vs Oath I put in the Chain of Vapor, sometimes Extirpate or Leyline (depending on what Oath deck it is) or sometimes EE for Spirit Tokens.
vs Stax I bring in a combination of Bounce and Leylines/Helm.
vs Control I bring in the Negators (if it's SCV I use the Leylines and Helm).
turn 4 of those Negators into 3x Tombstalker, and toss in a Darkblast..........and you have something sweeter then yoohoo!
other then that, IMO looks good.
S.M.

More sideboarding. With all the Tezz lists using Confidant and many playing Fire/Ice main, Negators aren't getting it done very well vs them (for me anyway). Tombstalkers are not a consideration for me. They aren't consistently going to drop before Drain is online and have dissynergy with Yawg Will. Thoughts about Sadistic Sacrament in TPS sideboard? Should hurt Tezz and Oath badly, whereas the Negators weren't very useful against other decks. Also are people starting to sideboard answers for Iona in black like Diabolic Edict? That would leave you with tutors and answers in both colors (CoV being the other).
I don't know about sadistic sacrament. I certainly wouldn't run Negators or Tombstalkers though. What i found to be interesting was the introduction of adding rebuild, sower of temptation and Energy Flux. Obviously EF affects your own artifacts, but using the Yawgwill to replay them and win is always an option. + there is a lot of instants that can be played in your upkeep with EF's trigger staying on the stack.
Well Negators were good vs Tezz before everyone started running Bobs and answers to opposing Bobs. Like I said, I agree that Tombstalker is bad. I need something in the board for Tezz.
I think Sadistic Sacrament, which was already suggested, is brutal. It's not a kill card, but it will most likely give you the game against Vault-Key decks and Tendrils decks alike.

One of the new ANT build runs four of them while only packing one tendrils bud, I would say sacrament is a kill card. What the hell can a guy do if his threats have been removed like a wart... Your statement is correct, and for the record it killed me in my last game VS my bro because I scooped to save face after he resolved just one sole copy against me.
If you remove my threaths, it still comes down to who has more cards in their library. If you AdNauseam'ed for a bunch, you just might lose out of that.

I need to contact my bro and I should have a list soon, here's a deck {not a ant deck, but it shows that it's still a viable card regardless} from a fellow pro that uses 4 of them maindeck and he placed 5th...Jerry Yang ring a bell?
I haven't seen that either, but ANT with 4x Sacrament maindeck seems awful.
yeah doesn't Doom...a deck filled with enough ways to disrupt you, ritual out, and then consistantly pluck your threats from you with a sacrament...ok bud.
A little thought might have been needed on that one.
The concept is to open out like you normally would, but in many cases I was told it would end up turn one duress, turn two sacrament {most cases game}, turn 3 sacrament...{you just overkilled for game}, but for doom sake I'll share that beyound that point the deck goes on auto until a god hand is build, from there the game would come together with a YawgaWin or ofcourse a resolved ANT {instead of a player getting 22 cards, he/she probably only gets 10}....we know what happens from that point on.
The deck isn't that standard ant deck, but from what I was told/seen it seems pretty powerful considering that one resolved sacrament in todays meta equal's what DOOM?...if you guess game then you're correct...awful...yep sure is once you've faced/lost to it like I did bud.
Will I go on the record and say this new build is better then the current one which has been proven insane... NO {I think you guys know better then that from me by now}, but it's still a potent deck never-the-less.
S.M.
Was wondering if any of you had experience with the red splash, if you thought it was worth adding, and if you had suggestions of worthy cards to test given the small splash.
So far, in the few games I've played since the addition, I've never been sad to see the Wheel, and it has become another early go-to engine along the lines of Tinker => Memory Jar.
Fyi, I'm using a list which, besides the aforementioned change and some sideboard modification, is identical to the list in Menendian's last article.

There have been tons of 1st place storm decks that don't run TCad {I'm not saying it's a bad idea though}, and for that matter many pros would rather have 2 duals out to go game then it.

I'm a huge storm player, {competitive player} and in a few PMs you'll be wheeling in no time....but I would also recommend a Badlands over the Volcanic {Volcanic is used in the drain tendrils version more often} in the future {B/R is far more useful because you often don't need the U in TPS}...but we can make it work trust me bud.
