I have been playing since Alpha (on and off) and have a reasonable knowledge of Vintage and it's evolution over that time period - from time to time people come and post decks that they want to play in Vintage. These decks often range from things like a Bird themed deck to Land Destruction based on Stone Rain, I mentally sigh and suggest Casual or Legacy for more help or a forum more suited.
But in this case I look at your deck and think - wow - reasonably solid. I think your problem with not getting any commentary here, is that most knowledgeable players will think the same. Your deck seems consistent if not spectacular, give us more information to work with and you will get more commentary/suggestions. Are you going to be using it with friends who are playing Dredge or Workshop? Are you going to be playing in a local tournament? If, you know the meta does it consist of mostly power, Oath or Blue based decks? etc... All these or any details will encourage more discussion.
With that said I like the inclusion of Stony Silence over the traditional Null Rod as an enchantment is a bit harder to remove then an artifact, but be aware that with the popularity of Nature's Claim, many decks can deal easily with both. As for actual card suggestions, maybe an Enlightened Tutor to search for you Silences? The problem is that it does little else, I would also consider running at least one main deck bounce (possibly Artifact bounce like Hurkyl's).
I see some def options to improve, regardless of meta.
Daze is actually fairly weak right now in a lot of matchups as without a stony out it's fairly easy to have a mana up. Some players may walk into it, but I wouldn't bank on it. I could easily see that becoming a different counter or even something more proactive. Your deck likes free counters because of how it wants to draw, so probably a 4 mental misstep (you have a good number of 1 drops that will draw their MMs)
You have VClique in your list twice. Not sure what that should be but it certainly should not be Vcliques.
Why the ghost quarter in the SB, why not just another wastelands?
A singleton regrowth and mystical tutor would probably go a long ways, if you establish board presence before your opponent, taking 2 turns is often game. Merchant scroll could be a possibility as well, and if so you should consider hurkyls for BSC and the like.
Lotus petal also merits consideration. Your not using off color mox which is fine, but Petal can help you lock out jewelry earlier on with a stoney and it going to discard is hardly relevant at that point.
The big cards that are missing from this list are Goyf, Scavenging ooze, and GSZ. I would run probably 3 GSZ's as it can get you what you need when you need it and a singleton tutorable goyf and ooze. If you need to side in cages you would drop the GSZ's. The creatures are fine to stay in. Goyf makes lotus petal make more sense as well.
I think gaddok teeg in the sideboard feels right as well as he is so brutal to some matches.
The list looks good, but I think you have 1/2 too many Selkies. Library is out of place. Another colored mana source is infinitely better. Also it might be nice to see Spell Pierce and Steel Sabotage instead of Daze.
Regrowth and Mystical Tutor aren't right for this list. Nor is Lotus Petal. Rather than Goyf I'd rather see SFM and Batterskull.
the meta I've been playing vs has a mix, a few oath(gogo Grafdigger), a few workshop, 1 guy playing tezz, a gush/fastbond control, a few other noble fish, a bug control list that ran blight steel collosus ( he hit it with a dark confident when we were playing it made me lol) and no dredge that I've seen.
also loved the goyf but 1 feels a little low but he can be a nice body that does pretty well when he hits the field so idk if GSZ stays in he can stay otherwise nope.
Scavenging Ooze seems like it would do OK in some matches so if gsz stays I'll play around with him see how I can fit him if he feels good.
on the note of playing SFM and batterskull I just don't know what I would want to take out at all running less then 4 SFM doesn't seem right and find 5 slots in this list, well I jsut can't find any. I saw a list online playing it but it was a completely different list running, Scryb Ranger and Mother of Runes.
I turned the dazes into GSZ and love being able to find the exact creature I want and get it out but I feel a bit vulnerable with out the counters in the slot so I'm going to test it that way and also try Spell Pierce and Steel Sabotage to try and find out what I like most. Though with out GSZ I'm not so sure about Gaddock Teeg in the SB. I'll update once I test that out a bit and see what feels best.
The last thing is Mindbreak Trap I'm not sure if it's right for my meta as a MD it can be a nice "hey stop trying to do so much on the first turn" it felt did amazing sometimes and other times I drew it and just mental facepalmed so I'm just gunna let it chill in the sb as a 1 of and not a 1 mb 1 sb, but we'll see if it's needed after that testing.
I'll be testing on cockatrice today if anyone wants to play with me that would be cool my username is JPoPP just lemme know your from here!
I am surprised I forgot to mention this prior, but brainstorm is a card you should play if your playing blue, pretty much in general. It let's you put back extra land drawn from Selkie, gives you more reach when you need your counters, put back creatures you would rather GSZ for, etc. Would probably cut one swords for it as it will help you get to your swords faster.
Every game Noble Hierarch does huge work for me adding damage, helping me ramp out the 3 costs on turn 2 if I don't get mox, even if I do get mox they still give me mana fixing and flexibility. Though I do love Meddling Mage so hrmmm I might try and see what happens if i cut 1 Noble.

Good luck, impressive first deck listing.
I can't help but think that stone rain plug was meant for me. I've been playing off and on since 94' and just recently came back to playing again. I don't think it's fair to assume that because vintage doesn't currently have a land destruction alternative that appears to work means land destruction is worthless. Maybe in it's old form like the deck I was building it might not compete. I agree. What about some professional player that shows up at a pro tour event with a deck nobody thought of? I'd like to think a smarter more dedicated competitive player than I might be able to give stone rain life again

I'm not sure at all about the SB and also about Meddling Mage due to my lack of knowledge about key cards in decks and what decks I'll be playing vs.
