I am new to vintage, I am going to gencon Vintage Worlds, and I am going to be playing dark times. I have done some searching, and found some deck lists, but i wanted to ask you all what you thought.
Is mono black the way to go? Or should I use the green splash? Out of ALL the tournament decks I've found, I have found none with green in them, although it looks better on paper.
What are the decks worst matchups, why, and what are the best cards to beat them?
Since I do not have Imperial Seal, what is a good card to sub for it?
Green seems like the most rationale splash, giving you access to things like Goyf, Nature's Claim, Pernicious Deed and Crop Rotation. In Vintage it's hard to just running a monocolored deck when the mana bases can be so stable and the other colors can give you access to so many answers even if they are sideboard only.
