I am wondering what peoples take on which strategic method is better when your faced with exalted triggers.
If I have my Cold-Eyed Selkie and Qasali Pridemage out. It would obviously be better to attack with both if you want to get 3 damage across instead of attacking with just the pridemage and relying on its own exalted trigger to get you to 3 damage.
But is there ever a time when you want to attack with only the Selkie for 2 damage for the card draw? Is the 1 less point of damage worth that extra card?
I find myself wanting the card draw even when I have 7-8 cards in hand already. Should you then worry about attacking for for the kill instead of card advantage?

If your actually going to be killing your opponent with the swing, then swing all out. but most of the time, I think the extra card is more useful as it lets you win counter-wars.
An opponent gains 1 life: Draw a card.
seems good.
I find that I almost never swing with Pridemage unless the opponent is down to 6 or 3. The thing is, there's quite a bit your opponent can draw that might defuse that situation, or even make him win on his turn. Thus, I find it to be a lot safer to just hold on to more cards than him and be prepared for whatever shenenagen he might draw on his turn.

Even if you have a hand size of 7 with stuff like Force of Will, Daze, Spell Peirce? You still want to draw more, or kill your opponent faster?
I know its important to have card advantage, but what I am wondering is when you need to move in for the kill and sacrifice that card draw.
If you already have the 'perfect' 7 card hand I would swing for 3. If they die from swinging for 3 that play is obvious. It really depends on the situation and what cards are already in your hand. Most of the time I would swing for just 2 though because drawing 2 cards vs. 1 is sometimes huge and CA is what wins games most of the time.

Thats an interesting way of putting it. But is it still good if it reads, do this ability three times and your opponent gets a free Time Walk?
