I've been fooling around on MWS a bit with this deck and it seems to perform really well against the most popular Vintage decks. I've had almost no problems with TezzVault, Bomberman, Workshop Aggro, Ichorid, Painter/Grindstone, or Stax. Funny thing is, I think it's actually a Legacy-legal deck (other than the Strip Mine).
The only real trouble it might have would be with Goblins and, of course, the "unbeatable" draws from a lot of the above decks. No counterspells in the deck, so if they can pull a turn 1 kill, I'm gone.
I actually think this deck has a place in the competitive section. The only real downside is that it cant really do anything offensive until the second turn. It might help to throw in Mox Pearl and Mox Emerald, but I dont think that would make it much better. Comments? Suggestions?
GW or GWB should have really have a competitive thread.
Squappy no offense intended because your deck is fine, it's just that this has been a competitive deck awhile now. Doomsday post and his link would be fine for the start of this competitive deck thread.
I dont like gaddok teeg. Other than stopping tezzeret, stax, chalice and force of will, what can he do? Why is he being played as a four of? He's legendary and he's narrow, so what makes him so good?

What more do you want from a 2/2 for 2?
I realise that he hits different things in different decks, but he seems too narrow against most decks. I tested him a little bit, and I found vs tezzeret, I would rather resolve something more powerful. You want to stop force of will? Drop a vexing shusher, he's better at it. You want to stop tezzeret? Drop a pridemage or a null rod. Vs 5c stax, he only stops smokestack, and vs mono red stax, he stops chalice and stax, thats it. Vs ad nauseam, sure, he's great, but how common is ad nauseam? Vs aggro, he just stops force of will, which is kind of bad when you are trying to deal with selkie slam or other hate beatz. Plus the fact that he is legendary makes him even weaker if your tezzeret or tps opponent runs removal for him. Thats why I dont like him. Sure he can be potentially powerful against alot of decks, but he seems, at least for me, to be more often than not, an unnesescary beater. And the fact that he is played as a four of puzzles the crap out of me. He seems better as a side board card. (sorry if this post is very late, I rarely go on these forums.)
Teeg is very often a metagame call. In a more powered environment he can turn off some crazy stuff, but in a less powered environment he is sometimes a 2/2 beater for 2 odd colors of mana that is Legendary and prevents him from being played in multiples to increase the ground attack pressure.
In this case I think it all comes down to personal preference, sometimes you play him and he's the nutz, other times he's just meh. It can be difficult to judge too, because his existence on the battlefield just stops people from casting certain spells, they don't often make you aware of how constricting he can be.
