This is an achetype that I've play in almost every format. I've had a little bit of success with it against Fish, Sullivan Solution and an older version of Grim Long.
It's essentially BR LD. With the monkey for artifact destruction and Bob for card draw. Bob beats is essentially the win condition right now, but I've also got Grim Lavamancer in there for additional damage. Anyways...here's the list right now:
I don't know about the Tutor...may make it one random Tendrils of Agony or something of the sort. I'm just looking for ideas, and ways to possibly add more card draw. Maybe Necropotence or [card]Yawgmoth's Bargain[card]. Ideas?
I'll consider cutting Molten Rain as the RR has been harder to get than BB. I want the LD spells in simply because of deck purpose. I'll try dropping the Rains for Duress and drop the Demonic Tutor for Tendrils. Seems like enough of a change to possibly make a difference.
I wouldn't bother with adding Tendrils unless you're also planning on adding (at the least) Yawgmoth's Will. The odds of you actually playing nine spells in a turn and still having four mana afterwards are far too small with that decklist unless you're reusing Dark Rituals.

I am no longer on MTGS staff, so please don't contact me asking me to do staff things. :|
There are no better land destruction spells, because there are no good ones other than vindicate. Until they can come up with low cost (3cc or less) split second spell, countermagic (particulary fish's daze) and fetchlands make it very hard to pin down land.
No matter its history Rishadan port is poor card. It produces colorless mana and it takes two of your mana to occupy one of youre opponent's.
While it can be argued that tendrils isn't optimal for this deck, its hardly "a very poor choice". It can be turned into confidant storm of sorts, and for its cost, better than Juzzam Djinn are a finisher.

I want to keep red for the Monkey and Lavamancer. Yawgmoth's Will would be good if I dropped Lavamancer, but he's one of my solid win conditions right now. I have also been thinking of droppping down the number of Moxes to just Jet, Ruby and Diamond. I know everyone says...more LD, more LD...but in T1, no decks seriously run THAT many lands. And a lot of them run fetch lands that don't really count because I can't pin them. So the 4th Wasteland has not been optimal. I'm going to work with it a bit and repost and see what you guys think later.
