Is 28 cards to flip him enough you think? On the sb, I'd want to make sure I had instant/soc cards... Do you think Leyline of the Void could be forgone for Extirpate? Interested in your thoughts on black bs red
It's more that what I run in my standard deck, and Delver still flips there a good % of the time. I think 28 should be fine.
Testing will bring the conclusion for that question. Thanks!
Honestly, I was thinking of running red > black. REB and Ancient Grudge are so good. But the ability to go off on Gush/Bonding is just too tempting for me.
Yea, I try to play REB as much as possible in eternal formats. I would think Bolt>Dismember (how many guys does dismember hit that bolt doesn't?)
Grim Lavamancer would also be interesting vs Noble Fish.
I would put a minimum of 2 KGrips on the sb, plus maybe a Flux. If you do red instead, 2 Grudge 2 Grip would likely be fine, though a recall or two might be better than the Grips. Kinda depends on what you see.
Black does have nice tutors, but I would play white over black too prolly, though maybe not.
I'd say 2-3 Bobs on the board is worth considering too
I was just about to ask this, Snapcaster is one of the best non-restricted cards in the format and you're playing a glut of targets to power up Delver so he'd fit in perfectly here. The only way to fit him seems like cutting Tarmogoyf which leads me to another question, is Tarmogoyf really that good enough for this deck? I understand that you need more threats than just Delver, but could he be replaced with some number of Snapcasters and Vendilion Cliques? Or would that just hurt your pressure way too much?

But whomever your commander is, Cabal Coffers is really in charge.
Mox pearl should come out. You have very few cards that can use off color mana, and the ones that do use it would benefit more from sol ring. Also no tinker so you dont need the full jewelery suite. You dont need to race out a goyf but you may need to windmill a jace on the table.
In the version of the build that is not using red the Ruby should probably come out as well. Since this is a tempoish deck, I would think strip mine would be better than 2 off color moxen as well, or just another counter.
Still, I like Delver and Gush so I'll try my own build.
One problem the deck had was that it didn't count the Moxen for land slots, so it was really difficult to flip delver.
Some help with a sideboard would be appreciated.

Thanks for the SB suggestions. I'll test a red version and see how it does.
Derp. Smh. Missed the md Traps. You have no sb cards for blue decks or Fish... (hint hint red).

3 Tarmogoyf
2 Snapcaster
2 Vendilion Clique
2 Trygon
The deck doesn't need fastbond we don't need the engine at all.
4 Gush is fine without fastbond.

To set up delver:
1 brainstorm

3 Preordain
