How come I always see creatures other than Emrakul in Oath decks that include it? Wouldn't the one be enough because it will just come back to the library to be re-oathed even if it gets Edict-ed? I totally understand the Jester's Cap type card concern though.
Creature choice comes down to the type of Oath deck you're playing.
For a more "combo" feel to Oath, some lists run Gush in conjunction with Tidespout Tyrant (AKA Tyrant Oath) to bounce their entire board while generating Storm count to win with Brain Freeze.
For a more "control" feel to Oath, some lists run Iona, Shield of Emeria and Terastadon. Sometimes these lists also include a robot, such as Blightsteel Colossus or a metagame robot like Sphinx of the Steel Wind assuming they run a Tinker. (AKA Elephant Oath).
For a more "aggro" feel to Oath, some lists run 1 or 2 Dragon Breaths in conjunction with 1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and 1 Blightsteel Colossus. (AKA - Golden Gun Oath or Fast Oath).
A variant on Fast Oath is Show and Oath, which runs 3-4 Show and Tells and 1 Channel in addition to the typical Oath framework, with a creature base of (I believe) 1 Blightsteel Colossus, 1 Progenitus, and 3 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. These lists also include the Dragon Breaths. So you can Oath up one of those five creatures, and maybe flip a Dragon Breath on to any of them (except Progenitus) and swing immediately, or SnT any of them into play.
A recent addition to the Oath lineup has been Demon Oath, which uses 3 Rune-Scarred Demons, 2 Noxious Revival, 1 Time Walk, and 1 Memory's Journey (if needed) to make the first Oath activation into a chain of Time Walks that kills the opponent after the "first" Oath activation (it's actually multiple activations, but you are essentially in infinite turns after that activation before they die).

I was driven from this once-great site by abusive mods and admins, who create rules out of thin air to punish people for breaking them (meaning the rule does not exist under forum rules) and selectively enforce the rules that are written on the forum rules. I am currently lurking while deleting 6 years and 2 months of posting history. I will return when ExpiredRascals, Teia Rabishu and Blinking Spirit are no longer in power.
How does this chaining work? I can kinda see how one would do it, but I can't figure out the exact steps.
1) Oath up Rune-Scarred Demon, fetch Time Walk, cast Time Walk.
2) Oath up second Rune-Scarred Demon, fetch Noxious Revival (Instant), cast Noxious Revival on upkeep putting Time Walk on top of library, draw Time Walk, swing for 6 from first RSD (opponent at 14 now), cast Time Walk.
3) Oath up third Rune-Scarred Demon, fetch second Noxious Revival, cast Noxious Revival on upkeep putting Time Walk on top of library, draw Time Walk swing for 12 (opponent at 2 now), cast Time Walk
4) Don't Oath now. Draw whatever card is on top. Swing for 18 for the win.
Should you flip Time Walk or the Noxious Revivals in your bin from the Oath activations, Memory's Journey replaces the old Krosan Reclamation and puts all three (if all three were flipped) back into your library. It's also an Instant, so you can use it's Flashback in response to your own RSD trigger to put the Walk and Revivals back in the deck.

Ah, I see. Yeah, the demons can just win the game. Obviously Noxious Revival can get you Memory's Journey back. I was wondering what happens when you bin the journey.
It has Flashback, just like Krosan Reclamation had. So if you flip it into your bin, just Flashback it in response to RSD trigger to put the Noxious Revivals and Time Walks back in your library.
It puts 1 more card in your library than Reclamation, it costs 1 less to Flashback than Reclamation, and it's blue. Strictly better.

I got that, but you exile it and thus you won't get infinite turns. Just more than enough to win.
Infinite enough to win with Demons. Which is why I said "infinite" in the description of Demon Oath instead of infinite.

In my Demon-Oath deck I cut Krosan Reclamation/Memory's Journey and Noxious Revival in favor of Gaea's Blessing which is repeatable, uncounterable, does not cost you mana, and with Blessing you are able to loop things enough that you do not need Noxious Revival at all. So far its worked quite well.

Is there a way to create a loop with the blessing? The way I see it, you need to bin it with every single Oath activation.
Well...just to explain, while you are flipping cards with Oath of Druids if you hit Gaea's Blessing before the Rune-Scarred Demon, you can shuffle your graveyard into your graveyard and then fetch.
From my testing I really only need to hit Gaea's once to get Time Walk back into my graveyard. Alternatively I find a lot of times I win via the vault + key, or better still is casting Yawgmoth's Will to cast the cards you flipped into your graveyard like the moxes, Time Walk, Time Vault, Voltaic Key, Lands, Ancestral Recall, and the list goes on.
So in short, from my experience I've only ever really needed to Gaea's Blessing once to get my infinite turns going, and sometimes I don't even need it at all.

+1 this is far superior, it cannot be countered. I am really enjoying playing demon oath. Only thing that I miss from time to time is tinker.
