I don't play much Vintage - and actually haven't played a game in about five months... but this card made me want to "re"build a list using Laboratory Maniac.
I haven't played any matches with this deck - but it is very similar to Sun Titan Oath (if you played it), except I took out the Time Vault/Voltaic Key combo to add in the Living Wish package that allows you to win on the same turn as opposed to passing it to the opponent. There are two ways you can play the deck (as I've built it) and it depends on the opponent and your pieces in play; but both require you to Oath trigger. From here, you must Memory's Journey the Yawgmoth's will, and then you can either get your SB Maniac or just use Tendrils. I'm not sure what the meta-game is like (I read Gush is doing well?) so the deck obviously needs to change based on that, but I really like this as a starting point for a powerful Oath deck.
Interesting build, many are running a maindeck Beast Within to take care of problematic permanents and provide an alternative route of creature generation,
Two things. Why are you running 4 oath of druids mainboard if you dont run a single mainboarded creature?
Also, in my maniac oath deck I ran demonic consultation as a quick way to either get my singular maniac to my hand, or exile my library during draw step.
jace seems a little out of place since your trying to either tendrils combo or living wish for the win.
since this deck works best when resolving a yawgmoth's will after oath, wouldn't you want to mainboard a city of solitude or similar to ensure you can combo out all in 1 turn untinerupted. use of city would pend on match up of course.

Answered in the first post. It's to guarantee that the first Oath trigger dumps your entire library into your graveyard.
