I have an oddball tnt deck that might be better classified as a survival deck. Been working on it for the better part of a few years (aka taking a bit of time off from magic) and was wondering what the comunity of now thinks.
it is set up here http://www.anycraze.com/deck_viewer.asp?id=379281 I hope posting a link leading out isn't against the rules. But as you can see its strange, but i like it. i want to see what others think. i think intruder alarm has a spice that adds nicely to this deck and if all goes well you can easily win turn 3 with this deck
You have 3 trinisphere in SB the deck is illegal in type one believe me a lot of people in vintage would love to run 4x 3sphere with mishra's factory and moxen but they can't.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
I am guessing this a budget build since you are not playing any of the T1 Staples such as Moxen or Loti which would speed up your kill.
This may sound a bit harsh, but it's too slow. There are plenty of combo decks that "if all goes well can easily win on turn 3". This deck has no real way to protect it's combo-ness or to disrupt any other decks. The deck rolls over to a main or even sideboarded Leyline of the Void. Chalice can/could cause huge problems. This deck is filled with answers but many of the questions are not being asked in vintage...
Consider moving to Legacy, since your not really playing with anything crucial to your deck that makes it a Vintage deck.
Wish I could be more helpful, but it needs a bit more direction before I can give any hardcore helpful commentary.
Like your updated version a bit more, power providing you a bit more speed. I am not crazy about 2 main deck Grudges, but I guess it depends on the metagame. Seemingly with the fatty of choice going to Inkwell over Darksteel - they both seem useless as creature control. But of course Sundering is providing you with mana denial and then the Null Rods, Shaman and Grudges backing it up. I might run Wheel of Fortune in place as a means of card draw and discard all in one - but that's is just a whim rather then a hard analysis.
Deck still rolls over to Leyline if it's maindecked - It just becomes a slow creature deck. I initially thought that Needle on the Welders would shut it down - but then looked at the artifact hate this things packs.
i would love to keep this as close to a budget deck as possible, but some things cant happen like that, if its easily convertable to 1.5 then please guide me. i would love for this deck to play nicely without having to buy p9 due to im mostly casual but go to the occasional tourney.
and beralt i see what you mean about the no combo protection, now that i think of it i have a friend that has a dreadnaught deck with those damn force of wills and the illusionary mask. i would prefer not to pay 100+ on cards, but thats just me
and since i only recently came back, i see what you mean about the leyline, that is truely a scary card against my deck.. ah well, please guide me.

Maybe a more multicolored version for bounce?
Darksteel Colossus can't be welded into play. Read the effect. If it could people would have used it with Welder when it first was printed.
I also think that the new card from Alara Reborn, Sphinx of the Steel Wind would make for a great Welder target, if you can manage to set Chalice at 1 so that it doesn't get STP'ed. This is after you get a Welder in play, of course.
