hope that no one is offended by the idea of "cheating" but lets get that out of the way first, a store near my house hosts *gasp* proxy *gasp* tourneys and well i want to get in on the vintage goodness, i know i didn't buy the cards, but i still have an opertunity to play the format, and i think thats neat
now that my disclaimer is out of the way, the point of this thread is to figure out what deck would be best to play, not just for power level, but also fairly straitforward to play (please note, i will most likely not have the text of the cards in front of me when playing)
there's nothing wrong playing proxy-tournaments, in fact it's almost the style of most Vintage tournaments due to the costs of some cards. But i think it'd be funkier if you play without proxies.
Well, quite honestly, it's still a tad chaotic due to the recent restrictions, though there are certain decks that will persist post June20,2008. I'd say the most
feasible (and easiest to play) would be Manaless Ichorid, since it has less decision trees and very fast, not to mention it's really easy to build (Bazaars being the most expensive).

If you're playing a deck right now (i.e. before June 20th) I'd probably play Tog with 4 Gush. Proxy up your power and you can probably afford the rest.
After June 20th, nobody knows for sure.

i don't even have to try, you're already doing a pretty good job yourself.
