UN-sets now come with a black border. As someone who has previously run Ordinary Pony and Carnivorous Death-Parrot in Pauper cube, I am hopeful there could be something worth testing. However, stickers and dice rolling will likely be a hard pass for me.
Nearby Planet - Transguild Promenade with some additional upside (fetchable, powers tron lands on its own, etc.). Very strong if your cube supports Domain. Note: it has an acorn symbol.
Edit: Given what has been previewed so far, it does not look good. Most of the uncommons seem focused on set mechanics (stickers, dice rolling, attractions), which is not interesting to me (but, may be cool for other people). Furthermore, the power level is pretty low across the board. For example, Sword-Swallowing Seraph could be played without stickers, but its ability is pretty underwhelming/uninteresting for being a 6 mana Serra Angel.
Juggletron - Playable without stickers if you house rule it gets an additional +3 each attack. Similar to Coastline Marauders, but is a better blocker and has a higher potential ceiling. Again, acorn symbol.
I don't run Un cards in my peasant cube, this set will likely be a miss for me. I was hoping for a one or two random uncommons that weren't over the top and silly, but doesn't look like we'll get there.
I have never been so disappointed with a set since I started playing Magic.
I have an Un-cube and was excited when they announced a new Un-set, but then they black-bordered it.
The eternal-legal cards could have been candidates for Peasant, but they're way too goofy.
And for both the cubes, I think stickers and tickets are terrible mechanics.
If you don't mind stickers, Pin Collection looks interesting, I think. Most of the stickers make mention of 'this permanent' in the reminder text of abilities, so giving 'exalted' or 'whenever a creature enters the battlefield, this permanent becomes a 13/13 Eldrazi until end of turn' to it seems at least funny. But yeah, I think stickers are a bit too clunky.
Still holding out hope for a black border More or Less.
I have to say I absolutely hate the idea of eternal legal un-cards with a black border. I think it's a huge mistake. Printing unique and powerful universes beyond cards is already very questionable from my pov, but printing goofy crap with stickers is just horrible. If un-sets don't sell well then they should just stop producing them, but making them eternal legal just to make people buy them is disgusting.
I don't even look at the spoilers for this set as I have absolutely zero interest in it. Thankfully I only play with a private group of people and they all think like me, so I will never have to see any of these cards in real life. End of rant.
Unsets not selling well is why there was a 13 year gap between Unhinged and Unstable. And even then, Unhinged sold find if Wizards didn't try and print it at the volume of a standard set. Unstable was popular enough to get multiple print runs and is the reason new un-sets now appear so frequently. They wouldn't be making new sets if it wasn't selling.
Protip: there was already an eternal legal card in every Un-set booster which carried most of the secondary market value for the set.
That said, I have 0 interest in this set from a cube perspective, it's just really parasitic.
Not sure what you're talking about. None of the un-sets had any eternal legal cards so far, the only value was in the full art basic lands, tokens and a few meme card foils. And don't tell me you meant basic lands with 'eternal legal'...
The sets sold so well that a sealed Unsanctioned box is cheaper now than it was two years ago...
It is pretty obvious that they decided to make some of the cards eternal legal only because they knew it would make the set sell better if there are a few playable ones among those cards. There is absolutely no logical reason why else they would do that. And that's digusting to me, sorry.
And don't tell me you meant basic lands with 'eternal legal'...
Of course he did.
Also, I'm very very very loosely under the impression that the legal cards do things that the regular game can handle. That said, I don't even know how stickers work so what do I know.

I don't follow any "spike" conversations and I really don't much care for this set either, but it seems to me they really intentionally kept from making anything eternal playable outside of commander and joke (or, as the word is spelled nowadays, "meme") decks brought to events just to piss others off. Do suggest a mechanically new card they made to sell the set to legacy players.
MaRo said the set has all the black-border-legal cards just so people who want to play with these are really allowed to, no one in a playgroup can deny them on the basis of border. That's the angle of how they intend to sell the set more, be it a player's legitimate wish to express themselves or just griefing commander curmudgeons. So far I'm buying that story.

MaRo said the set has all the black-border-legal cards just so people who want to play with these are really allowed to, no one in a playgroup can deny them on the basis of border.
I wasn't referring to Legacy. No, I don't think we'll see a tier 1 (or 2 or 3) Legacy sticker deck. The format they were aiming at with this nonsense is clearly commander, because that's the most popular and best selling Magic format anyway. And while commander is a casual format it still sucks that from now on whenever you play with randoms they can come up with completely over the top nonsense 'funny' cards and stickers and no one can say anything against it.
The problem is that there is simply no reason to do it that way. If you are playing super casually with friends you could already play with silver border cards if you wanted, no problem. But now they're forcing this crap down our throats (because, like your rightfully said, 'no one in a playgroup can deny them on the basis of border') whether we want it or not. And yes, the ONLY reason for it is because they want to sell more product.
And again, it doesn't matter to me as I don't even play with random people I don't know. But I still think it's disgusting because they officially add this kind of weird crap (that isn't even remotely funny for the most part, at last in my opinion...) to the regular game only to make even more money.
But enough, I'll leave this thread now so the people who actually want this in their cube can talk about the actual cards.
But enough, I'll leave this thread now so the people who actually want this in their cube can talk about the actual cards.
I think there's been one whole post evaluating actual cards. I'd say this set is very polarizing, except it's not a "love it or hate it" set - it's more of an "indifferent shrug or hate it set."
Of course, I'm more than a little biased. I was a fan of Unglued, Unhinged, Unstable, and [certain singles from] Unsactioned (especially happy to get the errata-ed versions of Ordinary Pony for my Un-Cube), but I absolutely detest Unfinity. Please, anyone, correct me if I'm wrong - let me know if anyone loves this set. No judgement here, I just haven't seen anyone who seems excited for it.
Glad people are willing to put a pin in this conversation about Unfinity, the set so we can talk about Unfinity, the cards.
My main complaint about Unfinity is exactly how much extra stuff you need to make these cards work in a "normal" draft. That complaint is not bound to Unfinity either. I had the same issue with Lessons in Strixhaven and many people have that same concern with snow mana and snow-covered basics for their cubes.
My personal question for card consideration is "How functional is this card with ~2 sticker sheets?" 2 extra sleeved cards in my token box are in line with other mechanics like Energy, Monarch, Day/Night, and the Undercity. That said, I am not interested in the dexterity cards or the "outside assistance" cards, as their variability is beyond what I want out of Magic. Here is a short list of Unfinity cards I am considering, with a little discussion of how to make them work.
Clowning Around- Creates two 1/1 tokens with a 33% chance of making a third. If a sorcery speed Raise the Alarm is decent enough for you, the upside is pretty interesting.
Park Re-Entry- Probably the most "normal" card to discuss. I have not done a hat check on my cube, but returning two 3-drops is a potentially strong effect.
Last Voyage of the _____ - Every single name sticker has a word with seven or fewer letters, meaning you need not search far to find the correct sticker sheet. Being an enchantment is worse than a sorcery for this effect, but +2/+0 is pretty nice. If you really want to, just leave your favorite name sticker on the card and sleeve that up.
Juggletron- Compares well to Coastline Marauders, which I really like. Each sticker sheet has 3 art stickers and it is probably both difficult logistically and unlikely gameplay-wise to get to the 4th attack with this beast of a Clown Robot
Lineprancers- This set has two-ticket power and toughness stickers of 1/5, 2/4, 3/3, 4/2 and 5/1. At the very least, Lineprancers is a “vanilla” 2-drop with combined power and toughness of 6. Those are excellent stats at two mana, plus you can boost another creature and get those benefits right away. Imagine a flying 5/1 Spectral Sailor, a 3/3 Goblin Banneret swinging for multiple turns, or a difficult-to-remove 1/5 Mother of Runes. I really hope you can amalgam all 5 of those P/T stickers onto a single sheet, especially by removing those big ability stickers.
Pair o’ Dice Lost- Very wide range of outcomes, but I want to point out this will always get all of your land cards back to hand, which could be very nice in the right circumstance.
Angelic Harold- Putting the name sticker on itself gives you a 3/3 flier for 1WU, which is decent enough. Interesting enough, 40 of the 268 creatures in my cube have three or more words in their name. At ~15%, it is not impossible to get another boost off of this creature. Another card where you can leave the name sticker on permanently and just have the 3/3 flier with minor upside.
Trigger Happy is actually pretty interesting. Not overly wacky and does not involve any additional game pieces. A unique take on blink that does not protect your permanent from targeted removal, but instead lets you steal the blink effect from your opponent. Given how common ETBs are in cubes, this seems playable.
This set feels like when someone tries to replicate a different videogame inside of LittleBigPlanet; all of the excess resources and card types feel like a board game that just happens to be built using MTG as a base set of rules. Which means most of the cards are un-cubeable (excuse the pun) to me because unlike something like Hurloon Wrangler, a majority of them require implementing a bunch of additional game mechanics that I don't want in my cube.
However there are a couple interesting more "traditional" cards in this set:
Haven't gone over the set in it's entirety yet, but from what I noticed skimming through spoilers:
Trigger Happy - Absolutely love the idea of this, will need to examine my cube and determine if the power level feels right.
Attempted Murder - Probably not efficient enough for how inconsistent it can be, but I actually like the pun and I just added Crow Storm to my cube so I wouldn't need to add new tokens for this.
Nearby Planet - Transguild Promenade with some additional upside (fetchable, powers tron lands on its own, etc.). Very strong if your cube supports Domain. Note: it has an acorn symbol.

The Space Family Goblinson - Seems like a decent payoff card if your cube has a lot of dice rolling.
Juggletron - Playable without stickers if you house rule it gets an additional +3 each attack. Similar to Coastline Marauders, but is a better blocker and has a higher potential ceiling. Again, acorn symbol.

However there are a couple interesting more "traditional" cards in this set:
Park Map - Functionally a cheaper Expedition Map.
Embiggen - Often a Giant Growth but sometimes better and occasionally worse.
Rat in the Hat - This hits a surprising number of things as long as you count helmets, hoods, and masks as hats lol.
Now You See Me . . . - Strictly better Cloudshift with incidental +1/+1 counter support.
Impounding Lot-Bot - A Fairgrounds Warden effect for artifacts and enchantments on a surprisingly beefy body.
Icing Manipulator - This could actually be very interesting in a counters deck. Turns all you creatures into a Spike Feeder imitation.
